  The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. The major downside was the location--it's pretty far from the attractions in downtown Little Rock, but not that far of a walk.

  The staff are friendly, the maid service thorough, and the bathroom is a decent size.

  It has a free parking garage, a crappy tv, and semi hard beds.

  Very nice, clean, good view.

  Horrible fitness room.

  This was the nicest La Quinta I have ever stayed in. Besides a bit of light construction going on it was very clean and nice. My only complaint was that the exercise machines in the fitness rooms were old and didn't work well. I wasn't able to use the elliptical machine at all because of the noise it made.

  The accomadations were sufficient, although the room was very small. Also, the lady at check in was pleasant and even helped get me some phone numbers to local pizza places that would deliver to the hotel.

  I requested a room with a double bed, and that is what I received. I then called again the following day and still got no cooperation from the desk workers to even really try to see if our clothes were retrieved or if they'd been taken by housekeeping. All in all, decent hotel with small rooms; decent staff only if you don't need to concern them with any thing!

  The good news is that the hotel offers an airport shuttle, mostly because it's used as a crew hotel for a number of airlines. I called down to the front desk, and was assured that someone would come up to remove it post haste.

  When I went to my room, I was shocked to find a dirty washcloth in the tub. Further, I needed the usual amenities, which were not provided in the room. The room was overly perfumed, as if masking something.

  Staff is courteous; pool is cleaned daily and stocked with towels, and is in the shade in the afternoon. Parking garage right behind hotel is convenient and had ample spaces available. Two of the four elevators were out of order for our whole stay, and from the looks of things on the 12th floor, where the workers seemed to be accessing them, this is a long-term project. However, we were not inconvenienced by there only being two elevators working. Great location for Little Rock attractions.

  Free parking and internet, along with a flat screen TV and a marble bathroom sink was a surprise. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the sheets. There is room service from a local cafe and the food was excellent and inexpensive.

  The hotel seems to be making investments in upkeep, and there was major air conditioning and other work in process when I was there. The room was very clean, and the staff was sufficiently friendly. The pool was nice and well-maintained (and a God-send in the 100+ heatwave that I experienced).

  True, it's not in the middle of downtown attractions, but the trade-off is free parking (and it's very fast to drive anywhere downtown, and parking is easy and cheap or free at most places).

  I enjoyed this hotel because it was in a great area and the rooms were much bigger.
