Hotel full of character, with rooms off an old courtyard. Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. GREAT location for exploring nearby attractions.

About the only good thing is that you get a bed for the night.

Hotel staff were not on site when we arrived, just a note advising us of our room number. You could describe the service as "iconic French". The on-site parking was through a very narrow opening into a courtyard. The only way we could exit without getting hung up on large blocks either side of the entrance was to drive straight out across the (very busy) two lanes of the main street in the town. This was usually accompanied by beeping horns and fist waving.

Could not find the reception when we got there - but once we looked closer it became clear that our room number was a on a little board and the key on our door. (The key, it turned out, wasn't there, but this was just because of a hitch in the system - it normally works ok).

The room at Hôtel Saint Nicolas was like my own little hideaway. The private entrance made me feel like a VIP, and the flat-screen TV was perfect for cozy movie nights in bed. Plus, the free WiFi kept me connected with the outside world. it was a comfy and modern room that made me feel right at home.

Clean and tidy rooms, friendly staff, craft beer, good breakfast. Short run to the autoroute. Would return.

We got great value for our money at Hotel Saint Nicolas. The room had a unique old-style French charm and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Plus, the location was perfect with a stunning Renaissance church nearby.

I stayed at a delightful old coaching inn with upgraded and modern rooms. The property is located off one of the main streets and has a nice sun terrace for evening drinks. The breakfast served on-site was typical continental style. The location was great, as I had easy access to Monet's garden and Chantilly Domain for some sightseeing. Chaumont en Vexin is a charming town with a beautiful cathedral and amenities like a pharmacy and Carrefour.

Nothing everything was great.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The over-the-bath shower had good water flow. The continental breakfast provided plenty of food.

Access to the car park was awkward, especially for larger vehicles. The restaurant was closed, leaving limited dining options in the town.
