I had an incredible stay at this luxurious hotel! The location was absolutely stunning, with amazing views overlooking a beautiful bay. It was a pleasure to take walks right in front of the property and enjoy the gorgeous scenery. The hotel was also conveniently located just a short walk away from the center of town, where I found delicious restaurants recommended by the hotel. The amenities here were top-notch, with a pristine pool, secure parking, and an enchanting garden filled with vibrant flowers. The service was exceptional, with friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was perfect.

One feature of this guest house that stood out to me was the beautiful garden. It was a lovely place to enjoy the sun, surrounded by the uplifting sights and sounds of waves and whales in season.

We were lucky to get a room on a busy holiday weekend during whale watching season. We had a spacious two-bedroom suite with a huge bathroom. Gail was so nice and helpful. She made us reservations for dinner and told us where to go for the best whale viewing. The whales normally can be seen from the window of the hotel but they had moved to the other side of the bay that day. I highly recommend the La Fontaine for a beach/whale watching weekend.

I had a wonderful time at La Fontaine Guest House. Despite bad weather, Gail helped arrange 'whale walks' for us, providing excellent viewings. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and our room with a balcony overlooking the ocean was fantastic. The hotel's attention to detail in cleanliness and decor was impressive. The location was perfect, and we found Hermanus to be a fascinating village. a fantastic experience that I would definitely come back for!

La Fontaine Guest House was worth every penny. The room was fantastic, spacious, and had all the amenities we needed. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants, and the staff treated us like royalty.

The setting was beautiful - with bedroom and balcony overlooking the ocean. The pool and garden were lovely, away from the crowds, but the guest house was easily accessible to all the restaurants and activities, without having to use a car. The cliff walks were spectacular. My mother and I spent a really special weekend there and it would be my first choice, without a doubt, if I had to go to Hermanus again. The hostess was lovely, friendly, and accommodating without being intrusive. The breakfasts were the best I have ever experienced in bed-and-breakfast accommodations. Top notch accommodation!

I loved the breakfast with a great selection of brilliant food. Beautiful and magnificent location, it was adjacent to garden, many restaurants and shops and the seafront.

We didn't have time, so we will be returning here soon. Thoroughly enjoyed how absolutely charming and nice the property was and its super-friendly staff with great service and attentive staff. The location of this hotel near many restaurants and shops, the sea and centre was marvellous and stunning. The room was gorgeous on the balcony, had a good night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent and great and had a huge variety of meals.

The room was brilliant in general, with balcony and seaview. The location was awesome, around 4-6 minutes' walk from Whale. Sensational and great breakfast, thoroughly enjoyed the place where it was.
