La Fonda Hotel Santa Fe - 圣菲

The location is very handy for all major Santa Fe sights museums and this hotel is great.

The location was ideal for anyone wants to be in the thick of downtown Santa Fe, the conference we attended once at the hotel worked well and the staff were helpful and interesting.

Excellent location, just a great place and the staff giving us good directions.

Parking was provided underground, a real must here.

We left the car in their garage and toured for three days on foot.

A large bedroom with king bed and bathroom attached to a large living room with pull out sofa.

We had a beautiful room on the third floor with hand-painted walls, a comfortable king-sized bed that was covered in great sheets and a small balcony that overlooked artist studios and galleries and churches.

The room was tiny, the bathroom reasonably up to date and the bed medium firm and comfortable.

We stayed with our family of six in room 500, which turned out to be a very large suite with two separate bedrooms, a double sofa sleeper in the spacious living room and two full bathrooms.

The room was spacious and comfortable and decorated pleasantly enough; however for the price they charged ($289, because of a special -usually it's $380), the bed and especially the bed linen should have been of much better quality.

Its ironic that the best food I had after a week of Southwestern cuisine in this town was actually at the dive-like Indian restaurant a few blocks from the hotel.

The Terraza rooms offer complimentary continental breakfast and the restaurants are good.

Breakfast was excellent in the hotel restaurant.

The main restaurant is pricey, and the rooms do not include breakfast of any sort.

After perusing the hotel’s shops, halls and artwork we decided to have a meal at the hotel’s La Plazuela Restaurant.

At checkout I casually noted to the receptionist the near-total lack of concierge services for which we had paid, only to be blown off with a "Well, we'll have to look into that.

The staff of the hotel was friendly, the service we had was great and my room was tidy.

One of the world's best hotels, helpful staff and the concierge in particular was a great source of information for us first-time visitors.

The staff helpful, both years the concierge was fantastic - lots of good advice and the room was beautiful and clean.

There is an elevator which is conveniently located off the parking garage.

But, exiting the elevator, on the 2nd floor, there is an added 'lift,' that will take you the remaining 7 steps to the actual floor level.

We arrived at 11PM and did not have anyone to help us with our luggage, and being that there was no elevator for six steps and being that I have a leg injury, that seemed to be our only complaint (I wouldn't even call it a complaint).

Hot tub area were nice and the hotel was extemely clean.

The room was clean, the restaurant was excellent.

The bathroom was old fashioned but spotless and roomy.

The bathroom very clean and the service food very good.

It is very "New Mexican", certainly not a fancy room by any means but clean and comfortable.
