The food & drink prices were a bit steep, but not out of line with what I think the hotel experience will be upon completion (high-end and hip).
The hotel is beautiful, the prices are more reasonable and the lobby is modern contemporary.
In light of the construction issues, I was rather expecting all other details to be impeccable considering the price point and the market this hotel is going for.
This hotel is definitely not worth the price right now, maybe when it is all done and the area around it improves it will be nice.
The beach was clean, location was great and all the hotel guests were invited as well as a lot of the investors of the property.
Has a great location and currently a good value.
Basically private beach and excellent location.
We were taking taxis each day into Old San Juan until we found out about the bus.
My guess is that the airport is a $25 cab ride to and from.
The room itself was beautiful, very chic with a flat-screen plasma tv, ipod doc, great bed, and great rain shower (no tub) that was lighted by blue leds.
Upon check-in I was informed that our reserved beachside balcony room with King bed was not available but that they could offer me a pool side room with double beds.
When we went to bed, the music could be heard in the hotel room thoughout the night.
I was insistent that they give me the room that we reserved months in advance and after repeated questioning a beachside King bed room miraculously became available.
The bed was comfortable and drinks were good.
The hotel restaurant (25 feet) and the pool bar offer excellent food - a relief as we were not exactly blown away by the local cuisine (we did try!
On other points of interest, we didn't eat at any of restaurants, with the exception of the breakfast buffet at Level 25, which I thought was not a bad value.
The hotel was amazing, the front desk clerk was beyond helpful pleasant and our breakfast at Level 25 restaurant was excellent.
The food is excellent: the breakfast buffet is an excellent value, poolside lunch menu is just perfect, and served right from the poolside grill.
We ate lunch most days at the restaurant by the pool.
For the entire time, the staff were friendly and outgoing and bent over to assist with directions, restaurant reservations, making change at the front desk, attending to some room items, etc;.
The staff was exceptional and the concierge was very helpful in helping us coordinate excursions.
Great fitness center, modern hip hotel property and excellent lobby bar.
Pool area were nice, j Taste: in Old San Juan was delicious and lobby bar was excellent every night.

On the plus side they have complimentary internet; both wired and Wi-Fi, and that's an area where a lot of "luxury" hotels continue to gouge their guests.
The wired connection did work, but there was spotty connectivity in the evenings on several occasions.
Staff was very attentive and everything in the room was clean.
Moreover on the upside the staff was very pleasant and helpful, the rooms were nice and clean.
The rooms were clean, the food was excellent at La Concha.
Our room was large, clean and well-furnished.
The room was bright and had all the amenities and most importantly was clean.
