The value for money was great and the room was comfortable. The location was superb, right on the beachfront, and the staff were friendly and attentive.
The breakfast selection could have been improved with more variety.

Amazing place with the private beach, not far from Castellammare. Quiet and cozy hotel.
Poor breakfast during which the waiter is plaguing you.

I always return to this place. The staff helped me plan my evenings. It has everything I need: free Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar/restaurant, swimming pool, massage. Perfect for my city trip. No regrets, just satisfaction.

Beautiful Location, clean room and free wifi, great for days out in the region. Receptionist Marieangela was very, very helpful a real asset to the hotel and any hotel, she made a big difference to our stay.
In the English culture you can choose to charge for service 'coperta' I personally dislike paying a service charge whether I receive good service or not, this practice is objectionable wherever I find it and make a point of not paying any tips if this mandatory surcharge is made.

The hotel is run down and does not offer value for money. Local youths gather in large numbers in the evening - well behaved but quite noisy! Makes parking impossible! If you want to stay in the hotel all the time the location is ok, otherwise is not convenient for travel/restaurants etc. The rooms and bathrooms are outdated and tired, as are the public areas. We decided to check out immediately after one night - the standard of the hotel was a real disappointment. Perhaps OK for familes with young children, otherwise choose a hotel in Castellemmare or Scopello

Great service from friendly and attentive staff. Outdoor facilities are fantastic - clean pool, comfortable lounge chairs, and beautiful beach. Tasty and reasonably priced dinner.
Felt really comfortable, nothing to complain about.

Newly renovated - v.pleasant design. Continental breakfast but plenty of it. Lovely location - right on the sand
Hard to find. Address given on reservation confirmation was not recognised on GPS. Hotel advertises SKY channels on TV but blocked sport channel when there was a soccer game on and asked for 8 euro to activate it. They said this was because there was a problem with reception of channel but once the game was over, the channel miraculously had no more problems!

The view was spectacular and the nights were very relaxing as we could hear the small Mediterranean waves come in and recede. Also the hotel had a full-service restaurant attached. Unlike the typical hotel restaurant, though, the quality was good and the prices were reasonable.
There was wifi, but not consistently. This was the fault of the service provider. Also, wifi was available only in the lobby and not in the rooms. (Hotel La Battigia had advertised that wifi was available in each room, but this was not the case.) One of the bathroom lights was not working and we requested it to be fixed. Nobody came to fix it, though. We upgraded our room. The hotel staff told us that it would be a suite with a sea view. It had a sea view, but was not a suite. (Our impression is that they do not know what the word "suite" means.)

We had a wonderful stay at La Battigia. The hotel is right on the beachfront, allowing us to enjoy the sound of the waves as we slept. The hotel was clean and compact, providing a relaxing stay. The beach bar attached to the hotel was a nice addition and never overly crowded. The location was ideal, with a picturesque port town just a short drive away, offering a great marina and a variety of excellent restaurants. The hotel was also helpful in arranging taxis for us, making transportation hassle-free. La Battigia provided a lovely beachfront experience.
Cannot find any fault 😊

The sea is very clean and it's directly at the hotel. You've got a privat small beach and free beach chairs. it's a nice long beach, without lots of people. breakfast buffet it's okay. the staff in the hotel restaurant is very friendly and funny. the two womens at the reception are very professional, helpful and friendly. it's a good hotel to relax.
The air condition in the room 201 was more a hairdryer than an air conditioner (so it was tooooo hoooot to sleep!!), unfortunately they didn't react on our complaint (we said three times, than we gave up!!). The room has got one window, and this window is right to the front of a teenager bar!! so it was noisy and sometimes impossible to find a parkspace. one more thing, the shower was toooo small and little (and we aren't really big people). so if you are over 1.80 m, ask for a room with bigger shower!!

The staff were friendly, helpful, and prompt. Daily room cleaning and towel changes. Lovely food at the beach snack bar. Adequate breakfast with tasty cakes. Beautiful beach and landscape. Nice swimming pool and exterior seating. Clean and tidy rooms.
All good.

We were very pleased with the warm, personal reception by Mariangela, who made us feel like coming to the house of our relatives! As it was quiet, she gave us the best room in the house with a large terras, almost on the beach.( Please be aware, that Booked.net guests usually get the only room without seaview) The room was nice and clean, lunch and dinner were of very good quality, as well as the professionalism and friendliness of the staff.Unfortunately we had to leave too early to enjoy breakfast, but we are sure that was good as well!! In spite of the minor critical notes, we can fullheartedly recommend this hotel!!
As the potential guests should get an objective impression, I need to place two critical notes: 1) it is difficult to find the hotel for the first time, it is badly signed out; the best road to get there from the a29/e90 is to take the exit Alcamo, drive to Alcamo Marina (towards the sea), turn left ( railroad on the right) and drive about one km, before you see a small sign on the right hand side with Hotel Battigia;cross the railroad, drive straight on ( 30 mtrs wrong way in a one way street!) and turn left. 2) if you are even a little bigger than "slim",you can't move in the shower cabin!

We had a wonderful stay with a majestic view of the gulf. The hotel facilities were clean and modern, and the staff were very helpful. We appreciated the convenient parking and easy transportation options. Being located right on the beach was the highlight of our trip, and we enjoyed lounging in the sun and swimming in the clear water.
Nothing everything was great.

The staff were nice and most spoke English which is unusual for Sicily and therefore a massive plus. I booked here simply because of the location and the pool which were both great.
