hotel is located in the middle of a huge park, surrounded by the sorgue. large selection of sculptures by famous artists is scattered throughout the grounds, offering interesting moments of sightseeing. furnishings in all rooms are very tasteful and have been arranged with great attention to detail. at night it is absolutely quiet and really nice and dark in the rooms - we slept wonderfully. whole staff is very professional and reads really (almost always) every wish from your eyes. especially to mention at this point is the owner/hostess poppy salinger. she is really the host in person! food (breakfast and dinner) was very good and was served in the garden. pierre salinger museum tells exciting stories from the kennedy era? would you like to know more about it? then the best thing to do is to visit the fantastic hotel bastide rose in person!
despite all superlatives, there were also very few negative points:. WiFi was unfortunately very bad in our suite. hardly to use. there are also negative points for the pool. that there are leaves and insects in such a great park is logical and wouldn't bother you if you cleaned the pool 2 or 3 times a day with a net (or even better with a vacuum cleaner). long waiting time at dinner disturbed us - too many guests or too few staff.

If you're looking for a beautiful location right beside a stream, then this is the place for you. You can relax to the sound of the water at night and take in the peaceful, pastoral surroundings. The hotel is located in an area of Provence with many charming small towns and scenic roads, making it a great base for exploring. Emmanuel's cooking is a definite highlight, as is the comfortable and spacious room with a modern bathroom.
The cost of dining at the on-site restaurant may be steep for some travelers, but there are many other dining options in the nearby area.

The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful towns and countryside of the region. The pool area was peaceful and relaxing, with plenty of comfortable sunbeds available. The breakfast in the courtyard was a delightful start to each day.
The wifi signal was weak and only available in certain areas of the property. The room was charming but lacked some modern amenities.

Beautiful surroundings, great location for exploring the region.
Disappointing Xmas dinner, too pricey for the value.
