I was offered a complimentary dinner at the hotel, which was good and thankfully I did not need to pay for the overpriced menu.
I recommend this hotel for an extremely good price in an extremely good location.
Came with a group of boys scouts, hotel was very accomodating, even let the older boys eat the buffett at the "kid price.
I chose the hotel based on location, and price.
Well located to the Metro system, the hotel has a very convenient location for visiting the National Mall and the staff were pleasant and accomodating.
True, the location is quite conveniently located above the subway.
The location was great for museum visits at the National Mall and the hotel's proximity to the Metro was excellent.
I checked in late on a snowy Saturday night and was so happy with the interior direct access from the Metro (subway was much safer than taxis on icy streets).
The L'Enfant is located atop a metro station and an underground "mall", but aside from the convenience of the train, the mall is a joke.
I chose a parlour room because it's more like an apartment, with a sofa sleeper instead of a regular bed so that I would have a place for visitors to relax.
The bed was very comfortable & we had a beautiful view of the water ront from our room.
My room was immaculately cleaned every day and the bed and linens were crisp and luxurious.

We had two rooms and one was a suite which was fabulous and the suite was less expensive than our regular room.
The food at the restaurants was pretty good(had breakfast as well as a snack at the Foggy Bottom).
You could grab a quick breakfast or lunch down there but there aren't any real restaurants.
Seafood Restaurant and a couple other restaurants.
They did offer to change our room, which we declined, & the manager gave us a free breakfast buffet at the restaurant for our troubles.
We also ate in the hotel restaurant, and had a wonderful meal, with great service.
front desk staff very welcoming and pleasant, i loved the balcony - chairs would be nice.
The front desk staff itself isn't very bright.
Pool was very nice, gym was adequate, and the lobby is beautiful!
None of the elevators work going to the parking garage and aren't expected to be for a couple of months.
We used valet since the parking garage elevator was being replaced and we didn't want to carry luggage up.
The wireless internet was down the entire four days I stayed in the hotel and the banquets department wasn't even aware of the problem.
Tried to watch TV on my laptop -- expensive wireless internet didn't provide a strong enough signal to do this.
The staff was so nice and the room was clean.

Bath was clean, buffet breakfast was fantastic and the pool was nice during the hot.
