This hotel has a great location and is convenient to the beach and restaurants. There's also a nice spa, pool, and tennis. Some felt the rooms were too small, while others thought they were bright and spacious. The good things outweigh the bad ones, though. A new spa was opened in 2009.

The four-star property is in steps from the beaches of the Pacific Ocean, in the village of Del Mar and is close to the Rancho Santa Fe Polo Field, beautiful hiking trails in historic parks, top-rated golf courses and the Del Mar horse-racing track.

Renovated in 2008, the hotel combines the latest technological advances with modern design.

All 120 rooms include ironing facilities, Wi-Fi internet and air conditioning. Stunning ocean and hillside views of Pacific Ocean are available too.

Super location, pacific Ocean from our room balcony was beautiful and the lobby/courtyard was a great place to have a drink and watch the sun set. Service was very good overall, the therapist and receptionist just said sorry, the pool and hot tub were very clean. The staff were attentive and friendly, especially carey at the outside bar.

Great location, the website gives the impression of a private path leading to the beach and we just across the street and found about 20 places to eat. The staff were very helpful and the rooms were clean.
