After we had called 3 or 4 other hotels with similar star rating and found out that we cannot afford them, we decided to stay in this hotel.
The location was ideal, just a short 6 or 7 block walk to downtown Aspen where everything was going on.

Convenient walking distance to downtown, good location and fantastic place.
We won free last minute tickets to an event in downtown Aspen, and needed to find an inexpensive place to stay at the last second.
The bath tub has some pretty powerful jets.
The fireplace was 'directly' at the foot of the bed - you dare not ever have a fire in it!
It also had a beautiful wood burning fireplace, with wood available to build a fire just outside near the hot tub.
We could have stayed in a camper with a small space heater and had the same amount of room.
I booked a cabin specifically with a spa in the room.
If you're looking for a good value right in Aspen, this is the place!
The cabin was spotless and had a great little kitchenette with fridge, stovetop, sink, microwave, coffee maker and even silverware / utensils.
The rooms are clean, they have a small kitchenette with everything that you need there to prepare your own food.
Moreover the interiors have been recently renovated, the rooms are clean.
