Also overall good value for money excellent location friendly and above all its close proximity to the charming old city.

The location of the hotel was good as was handy for the bus train stations and staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent central location and trains were clean.

We took the shuttle bus from the airport (5 euros) and got off at the Novotel Atria (next stop after the station).

Cheap flights from Liverpool, the airport is about 10k from Nimes, there is a shuttle bus that meets the flights, 5 Euros per person, stops first at the railway station, then at the Novotel Atria which is less than 5 min walk from the Kyriad.

We had a nice room, would have been spacious but a camp bed for my three year old took up a little too much room.

Hotel is bright and cheerful, helpful staff, rooms are on the small side but comfortable, bathroom spotless, we thought that 60 Eur per night for the room was excellent value.

May be we were just unlucky and got the smallest room in the hotel, but really the room was only about 3 feet wider than the bed all round.

The room had some sort of air blower unit, but it was certainly not air conditioning and certainly did not cool the room.

Trendy modern bathrooms and the breakfast was excellent.

Very central location for attractions and restaurants, word of warning our basic French got us around but had one slight hiccup at a restaurant, the word "cru" means raw which we did.

Perhaps the best part of our stay was the great breakfast, lots of food , plenty of variety, breads, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt, cereals, All this for a budget price.

Additionally breakfast has a good basic selection.

The kyriad hotel was what previous occupants had said small but friendly with an excellent breakfast choice.

Continental breakfast is also good value, plentiful and varied, extra at 7.

Le personnel est super sympa et devou, room cleaning staff were great.

The gentleman receptionist provided us with a map of Nimes as well as directions to the main sites.

Location is very good and train services from Nimes are excellent.

All staff here were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has its own garage parking (about Euro 8-50 per night).

This is vital in this area as there is a real lack of parking.

Anyway, I agree with those here who comment adversely on the in-house parking - on our exit one poor gentleman had to be roused at 6:30am to move his Porsche Boxster because it was boxstering in our Citroen rental.

Lots of nice cloths shops along avenue up to palace at good prices, friendly staff and our room was generally clean.

Our room was clean and we very much appreciated the air-conditioning!

The room was very, very clean – as was the rest of the hotel and you do get tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Incredibly clean, having previously worked for Hilton group dirty rooms are a big, bug bare for me especially in older hotels but this was great.
