Kurland Hotel Plettenberg Bay - 普勒滕贝格湾

We have 2 small girls who were thrilled with their own "loft" room above ours that was huge and with its own full bathroom.

TV (one small TV tucked away) in the room but there was a small libarary of books - approx 200 books for you to chose a novel.

Various sitting rooms and all of our meals were extreemly good.

The hotel is just beautiful - huge scenic grounds, the service is absolutely fantastic and a lovely dining room heated by an open fire.

The hotel itself is beautiful - there is a main building and the rooms are gorgeous.

We had breakfast and Supper as part of our package and they were provided in.

Leon who met us on arrival set the scene by telling us to treat the palce like home - whnever we wanted to eat, eat.

All of our meals were extreemly good and again available whenever you choose.

I must admit Greg, the english chef, just said 'what is your favourite dish' to the children and he made it.

While we were here, in early January, it rained for the 3 days we were here but it did nothing to dampen our enthusiaism for the place and the staff who were extreemly helpful - something we found in SA in general.

2 and the others were given away to the staff which I felt was a good.

They were spacious, tastefully decorated, tranquil with a huge terrace and private pool looking over to the mountains.

The main house, where you have your meals and the main pool, is very relaxed with loads of areas to sit around the fire or weather permitting on the covered veranda overlooking the pool.

After travelling around the Cape with 3 children and the weather turning for the worse, we thought we found heaven when we arrived at Kurland, situated near Plettenbert Bay on the Garden Route.
