This hotel is a true luxury experience. The exclusive amenities, such as the private onsen bath and comfortable beds, exceeded my expectations. The restaurant offers delicious kaiseki style meals, and both breakfast and dinner left me feeling completely satisfied. The service was efficient, and staff were attentive to my needs. Additionally, the location is conveniently located near Otaru, with easy access to nearby attractions.
The only minor issue I encountered during my stay was the limited selection of alcoholic drinks at the bar. However, this did not detract from my overall positive experience at this hotel.

Best aspects of my Christmas getaway: The hotel was beautifully styled with stunning interiors, giving a feeling of calm and serenity. The food was top-notch and well thought out, catering to all tastes and dietary requirements. The location was also ideal, being situated in a quiet area, with easy access to the local sights and attractions. I especially enjoyed the stunning views from the outdoor onsen, which was the perfect place to relax after a busy day exploring.
Worst aspects of my Christmas getaway: The service was poor and the staff were unresponsive to our requests. There was also a lack of activities or entertainment, which made for a quiet and slightly boring stay.

Spent Christmas here and it was a unique experience. The rooms were spacious with a separate living area and comfortable beds. The meals were a highlight, with delicious local seafood and an impressive selection of drinks. The bar area was a fun spot to hang out and relax.
The communal baths were underwhelming, with the indoor bath being too small and the outdoor area lacking proper views. The nearby town didn’t have much to offer and the hotel is located a bit far from Sapporo, so transportation can be an issue.

I had an amazing stay at this unique rural hotel! The location, next to a tranquil stream, was perfect for unwinding. I loved spending time in the library with a record while waiting for dinner. The spacious rooms were well-furnished with a comfy bed and large windows that provided stunning views of a river. The service was excellent and the staff were very helpful. I especially enjoyed the delicious breakfast and plenty of free drinks in the mini-bar. The music room was my favorite, it was a perfect place to relax after a long day.
The soundproofing in the common areas leading to the dining area was not very good, which made it difficult to relax during dinner due to the noise.
