Combine this with a beachfront location, beautiful starry skies, a chilled-out atmosphere and you are a guaranteed a memorable evening.
All in all this was a superb holiday, completely relaxing and in a stunning location.
The island is perfect, the standard rooms have the best location and the setting for this hotel is wonderful.
Our holiday got off to a great start, taking the Maldivian Air Taxi for the 25 minute flight to Kuramathi.
Its just so great to go bare foot all the time!
We were taken to our room with a bed decorated with flowers and took our shoes off and didnt put them back on til we landed at Gatwick a week later.
We stayed in a cottage on what was previously known as Coconut Village, the room was lovely with petals on the bed most days and the outdoor shower was lovely.
4 poster bed outside shower it was lovely, the room boys create different designs on your bed sheets each night, fab, there is lots to do if you want to and not if your ok in reading a book.
Rooms are ok but you don't go to the island to sit in your room with the beach and fantastic bar as long as the beds comfortable and the shower works you don't need much more.
Paid about two dollars a day for the guy who did our room and he did things like flowers on the bed and the like,.
The AI food was nice but we tried a couple of the other restaurants- the Indian restaurant is a MUST as is the Lobster meal on the beach.
The thematic restaurants looked nice, but once we had All Inclusive we were only allowed to eat in the main restaurant or else we had to pay our meals.
If you are all inclusive in village you can eat in the main restaurant for free, you can also get 20% off all a la carte restaurants on the island as long as you book with your waiter.
The main restaurant was very nice all in wood, nice food and a nice bar with nice snacks.
We were fed well from the village restaurant as we were fully inclusive but also used other restaurants on the island at a charge - well worth it.
THE PEOPLE - We found everyone to be very pleasant, friendly, polite and helpful, from reception staff to waiters, cooks, head chefs and barmen.
The service was excellent, the outside shower was fantastic and staff at The Fung Bar were really friendly.
Service was excellent, although occasionally a little slow in busy periods, or the restaurant, but they did seem to have a lot of staff to a few guests.
Additionally service was good, the room had digital safe in I thought was brilliant and the bar staff were great.
Invigorate and relax your body and mind with a steam, shower, jacuzzi, sauna and cool plunge pool session in lovely surroundings.
Yes the pool is in the Cottage & Spa part of the island and you have to pay $15 pppw to use it but they forgot to ask or check that we had paid for this, and so we didn't.
Gym is ok but a bit small and massages at the spa are also very good.
The staff are friendly and rooms are kept spotlessly clean.
Furthermore diving at a reasonable price, very welcoming staff and the roomboy would clean your room twice a day.
Good points:- The grounds on this island are particularly lovely, service are excellent and rooms are nice and clean.

The sand paths are swept continually, the public areas have men armed with brooms to sweep away the sand (you never actually see them do it but there is never sand around) and you could eat off the toilet floors it is that clean.
