Kuramathi Cottage & Spa Male - 馬累

We stayed in a water bungalow and it was wonderful, lovely double bed, huge balcony and very clean bathroom.

The water bungalows were lovley with a big bed and loads of room.

When we arrived back to our room we found the bed decorated with beautiful flowers and a birthday card - amazingly we hadn't really mentioned there was a birthday so it was a big suprise!

A big enough room, No TV (Brilliant) big bathroom, with bathtub and outdoor rainforest shower.

Room boy was lovely but I'd rather the surfaces of tables were cleaned/dusted than all the fancy flower arrangements on the bed!

We chose Bed and breakfast as usual, as the islands have many restaurants , and we knew that we would prefer chosing our own meals in our own time that sitting in the restaurant.

We did bed and breakfast and ate at each of the restaurants and found the food and service was very good.

All our meals if served in the main C&S restaurant were part of the deal, but when eating in other restaurants on the island, we only got a 20% discount on the a la carte prices of other restaurants.

Fantastic food (we went on B/B basis) so we were free to try all the different restaurants in the island (I especially recommend the Siam Garden, the Island Barbeque Restaurant and the Indian Restaurant).

The bar area and restaurant were nearby and the service and food was always good.

Don't rely on the reception staff to confirm meal reservations.

Staff at the Cottage are really nice and attentive, rooms are cleaned twice a day, the Havana Bar near our reception at cottage is a really smart bar.

Moreover service is great, the rooms are cleaned twice a day and the staff at the bar are very helpful and friendly.

From the reception staff to the ground workers they were freindly, attentive and would go out of their way to cater to your every need.

The pool area which is for the exclusive use of the Cottage and spa and Lagoon guests only is also a great place after a hot day on the beach, they have a couple of jacuzzi's which are fun too.

The swimming pool was packed daily so we never got there but my husband said the gym was fantastic.

If you stay at the Cottage you get free use of the swimming pool, gym and tennis courts (floodlights too).

The rooms are immaculate, the island is clean and tidy, beautiful beaches and clear warm lagoons.

Good and clean rooms, the bungalow provides complimentary coffee/tea etc.

The rooms were perfect too, and the island was well landscaped and of course the waters were crystal clear.

The room was kept spotless the entire time and nothing was too much trouble.

The Island is beautiful with nice beaches and good and clean rooms.
