The room at Hotel Cumbres San Pedro De Atacama was absolutely stunning! The classic furniture and minimalist touches blended perfectly with the breathtaking natural surroundings. I felt so relaxed and at peace in the tranquil atmosphere. Plus, the private terrace was a fantastic bonus!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the external showers. It's just my opinion though, some people might actually enjoy being able to enjoy the northern landscape while showering.

I liked extensive and fantastic breakfast, wonderful views.

My stay here was very special. Everything was excellent, efficient staff, amazing location short walk to the other sites as well as Cumbres restaurant. The room was large and beautifully designed, with free Wi-Fi.

The location was amazing, native to the area, convenient to go everywhere. And we where really close to a winery, bars and the summit above the lake.

    Everything was spot on.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the beautiful location with well-preserved gardens. The staff were attentive and took great care of the basic amenities, ensuring that everything was clean and well-maintained. The rooms were comfortable and I absolutely loved the outdoor rain shower, which added a touch of luxury to my stay. Additionally, the breakfast spread was delicious and provided a great start to each day.

Everything was perfect, no improvements needed.

The hotel's rooms are really nice, but we had a lot of problens with the services, the payment and some things that were stollen from our room!

Because it was rainning some days before our arrive, the door of my room did not work! The room were like 1 km from de desk room and we had to come back all the time to ask for some help! Also the tv sign didn't work in some rooms! They told us it was because of the rain, but if some roons had tv sign, the problem was of maintenence! During our stay the hotel started to make a repair in the swiming pool! So it was impossible to stay in the others swiming pool because of the noise and the smell of burning plastic! If it needs to be repair, they should did it during the nigth when nobody was there! I was robbed in my room! Somebody took my lamp and I heard that other people had money and parfum robbed from their room too! People from staff told us that should be someone from the street, but there's no way to get the room without keys. The spa temperature in one of the days it was like 40 degrees celseus! Impossible to get in! We asked for somebody to turn it lower but nobody came and we didn't get to swim! When we did the checkout we had a lot of problems! First of all the bill was not specified as the tickets that we firm! Its was separated food and drinks, and it was impossible to compare with the copy that we had! The hotel does not accepted chilen money in chile!!!!! If we would like to pay in pesos chilenos there was a tax of 19,5% de iva. But if we pay in dollars there was no iva because we are foreing! If we are from other country we do not have to pay the tax in any money!!! And the tax of changing money was much bigger than the airport! The change tax of dollar just change once in a mounth and does not follow the financial daily changes! When we decidded to pay in dollars the change came in pesos! When we check our bill, we saw that we were paying a lot of money and we discovered that they put the iva in the dollars account! They did it again but if we haven't seen this we would have paied with the tax that was almost 500 dollars!

This hotel pleasantly surprised us with its attention to detail. The rooms were spacious and well-maintained, with an extra open-air shower that reminded me of the Maldives. The terrace provided ample space to relax and enjoy the beautiful gardens. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. Plus, the breakfast spread was delicious.

All was fine during our stay.

I loved the semi private "back yard" with lounge seats and the floor to ceiling glass walls. It was great for star gazing either from your bed or outside. Huge room, direct TV, AC, plenty of hot water, great way to treat myself after "roughing" it in Bolivia for 4 days! English speaking and friendly staff. Bed is huge and super comfortable. there was even an outdoor shower (which I did not use).

The design of the hotel, the menues although the quality was 70% good, the Croation bar keeper,

The quality of the reception staff, not willing to go the extra mile for the customer ( work by the rule book ), did not speak English the was the impression from all the guests with whom I travelled...

hotel cumbres exceeded our expectations during this celebrating birthday! beautiful rooms, friendly staff, delicious restaurant, and a relaxing pool/spa area after long excursions on dirt roads to the local attractions.

    Service was non existent.

Superficially good design did not work in practice.

My email to the manager Re: our stay at Kunza Hotel January 2013 As you know we had hoped to raise our concerns about our stay at the hotel while still in San Pedro. Unfortunately because you did not have the courtesy to get back to us when our first requests for a meeting were made, we were unable to do so. I did, as you suggested, raise just some of our dissatisfaction with your front of house manager, … at check-out but she was, quite frankly, disinterested and unhelpful. This is the first opportunity we have had to get in touch since our return. We had high expectations of the hotel, partly because of the cost and partly because of the reviews we had read. However, overall we found the level of facilities poor for a hotel of this standard. We found the following shortcomings: • No hairdryer in the room, supplied on request but too late for the first day • One pair of slippers provided had clearly been used • No shower gel, tissues, cotton wool • The shower was never more than lukewarm • The light on the magnifying mirror did not work • We reported that the TV was not working the day after our arrival. A technician was sent. He could not fix it but, as we found in the middle of the night, he had left the screen on and we could not turn it off. So we had an unwelcome ‘nightlight’ for two nights. It was only on the third day that we were told, when we asked, that there was a problem with the satellite in that wing of the hotel. If we had learned that sooner we would not have wasted time trying to get it fixed. • Every time we went into the room there was a loud screetching sound coming from somewhere. It only went off after some time. • Breakfast buffet was adequate but not as good as buffets we had at cheaper hotels in both Puerto Varas and Santiago. The hot food was never hot, it was lukewarm even when service opened. Breakfast service does not start until 7.30 even though many guests have early morning starts on tours.

Well, it was a wonderful stay with the hotel tour service. The location was stunning and amazing, in the outskirts of San Pedro, in the beautiful area.

The rooms were lovely and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The hotel had a beautiful swimming pool, and we enjoyed renting the free bikes to explore the surroundings. The spa service was excellent, and the quality of the excursions was top-notch.

The restaurant was a bit disappointing, with boring food and a lack of salads and vegetables. The breakfast timing was inconvenient, especially for early morning tours.
