The hotel's location is perfect, being within walking distance of the village of Kailua and conveniently close to shops and amenities. We loved being on the third level with rooms that offered stunning sea views. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. Additionally, the basic amenities in the hotel were satisfactory, and the breakfast provided was a great way to start the day.

Clean and orderly. Quiet at night. Very close to the town of Kailua, walking distance to pretty much everything. There was a woman and her friend that are like the Visitor's center down at the poolside, she knows everything about what is going on.....great rescource.

We loved food and views of this hotel. A kitchen was a big plus. Easy access to Kona International airport, within 12 miles.

All was perfect.

The room we stayed in was fully stocked with everything needed for our stay. The only complaint was that the room was in a noisy location and the sofa bed needed new springs as it is overworn. Other than that, everything was fine.

Loved the location of the apartments as Kona town was so easy to walk to for the Ironman and restaurants etc. Our apartment was lovely and clean and had everything we wanted including a proper electric kettle to make our tea...well we are british :). Stunning views from the balcony. Loved sitting there eating breakfast watching the waves crash on the rocks

As we were in block f there was traffic noise and noise from other residents in the carpark in the night.....however we kept ourselves so busy during the day that we were too tired to be kept awake for long. Cost is a downside ......but that was due to Ironman fortnight!!

The location facing the ocean was wonderful, and I enjoyed sunning on the lawn by the sea. The short walk to village restaurants and shops was always pleasant. Covered parking was conveniently located near the units.

Room came with a nice kitchen fully furnished with all plates/utensils and cooking hardware. Great view of the ocean and pool. Ocean access was a bit rocky. Location was great but the rooms near the road tended to be noisy if you left the windows open.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Kona Reef Hotel and it has to be one of the friendliest hotels we have stayed at. It is clean and the rooms are well appointed and they have a view of the ocean and sunset to die for. It well situated within a few minutes walk to the Kona shops and restaurants. We will be staying there again next year when we go back to Kona.

The only thing we did not like was having to leave. Had we the time, we would have stayed there longer.

We will stay here again, marvelous Condo. Kitchen, Laundry & King bed were outstanding. Lanai overlooking beach was delightful. A/C worked well & Shopping was easy walking distance. 5 *'s! Mahalo!

The hotel is located on Ali'i Drive, right by the ocean. Guests can enjoy the convenience of being within walking distance to great restaurants and local shops. The location offers stunning ocean views and the opportunity to witness beautiful sunsets. The hotel is near a park, providing a lovely spot to relax and unwind.

Check-in process was inconvenient, and the unit had outdated furnishings and amenities. The air conditioning was inefficient, and there were maintenance issues with certain appliances.

Great location near restaurants and shops, and beautiful grounds. The pool is fantastic, and the view of the dolphins jumping out of the water every morning is breathtaking.

No staff available for check-in and facing the park wasn't as nice as facing the pool. The loud music from kids partying on the street facing the park was disturbing.
