Kolonna Hotel Riga - 里加

Really well located in centre of old town and good price/quality/location.

Located in the Old Town, excellent location and perfect for some days stay in the city.

There are perfect view from the windows, i recommend this hotel as the best because its location.

We asked for a taxi to be booked in advance for our return to the airport but we had to wait half an hour, when asked if they could check the booking we were told 'it will come'!

If you need transportation, have the hotel staff order a taxi as it will be cheaper to you AND the taxi can bring you to/get you from the hotel door (otherwise the taxis have to pay an extra fee to drive inside the old town).

I liked the room bed and decent breakfast.

Hotell staff is excellent, rooms cleaned & towels changed every day 1 double bedroom up sta and regarding the breakfast - you have been warned - see other comments.

Reasonable price, excellent staff and meaning staying only in one of rooms then the second room is not used.

Rooms are very modern with up-to-date bathrooms and very, very clean.

We asked for a double but got a room with two single beds at opposite ends of the room.

Plenty of restaurants and cafes, with a choice of local specialities on offer, service can be slow but the food is worth the wait.

Breakfast with black and white bread, croissants, marmalade, cheese, ham, orange juice, tea and coffee.

Breakfast: It's served from 8 am to 10 am.

There are many, many restaurants within steps of the hotel.

But the Lido restaurant across the street was very good.

The reception staff is very friendly and helpful, and all spoke perfect english.

Having stayed four nights, I guess I saw five different staff on Reception - all welcoming.

The reception desk staff were unreliable providing wrong information and directions, overall not helpful at all.

They're 4 floors in the hotel which does have a lift.

The building , four stories high, has an elevator.

This place is in the middle of town,there's no parking close by, we found a parking lot a five minute walk away,so not too bad.

LOcation is very good and they have free wi-fi in the hotel.

Furthermore good price, kind staff and the room was large and clean.
