Helpful staff ideal location walking into town or racsecourse, the Hotel was very well situated for the City and the family room we booked was excellent ass actually comprised of 2 separate rooms.
Furthermore room was clean, the breakfast in the morning was very well presented and having a swimming pool was a great added benefit.
Nice location 15-20 minutes from York, our dinner in the hotel restaurant was very good and the staff was very helpfull and friendly.

Friendly enough staff and nice big bath. Bit tired, good food and excellent pool.

Communal areas a bit tired room quite small temperamental shower and unclean hotel. Lovely old manor house, definitely not worth the money.

Convenient location and great value. Price reasonable and friendly staff. Large, luxurious, comfortable room, bar is good and the breakfasts are ample, and the evening meals very tasty.

On a busy road opposite the race course and the mattress is the most uncomfortable mattress I have ever slept on.

Rooms clean tidy, staff fantastic food very good, and only a short walk to the city centre, the hotel overlooks the course and would be an ideal base for racegoers, nice bar is not horrendouly overprided. The breakfast is very good.
