Klaus K Hotel Helsinki - 赫尔辛基

Superb location, nice place to stay located near main street of Helsinki and the staff was very helpful.

Overall, the location of the hotel is good - close to the centrum and easy access to the trams.

In summary: a great hotel on a great location.

Klaus K hotel is about 10-15 minutes from the train station (where the airport bus arrive), and two minutes from one of the main boulevards, Esplanadi (where you will find restaurants, cafes, bars,.

The hotel is right in the centre, about five minutes walk from the bus and train station.

The rooms are spacious and designed to give you something extra compared with typical hotel rooms: from bed linens to flat-TV to toilet utilities every item has this little extra touch of Finnish design.

The room was somewhat small but had a wonderful flat-screen TV, a comfortable King size bed, and roomy bathroom.

The bed is heavenly, the bathrooms are more functional than glamourous and at times some of the design elements in the room were not as practical as they might be, which was slightly irritating.

It wasn't very big but everything was designed perfectly and the bed was fab too, as far as I know it's one of the very few hotels in Finland that have actual double beds as opposed to two singles pushed together.

Stayed at the Klaus K last week on business, very cool room (funky styline, great bed with big fluffy white duvets, LCD widescreen, wifi etc.

The Ilmatar restaurant serves a great breakfast and the Ahjo bar/club appears very trendy and welcoming.

Perfect stay: from design of a room to awesome food for breakfast, friendly staff and near all the trendy/upmarket restaurants.

We didn't eat at the more formal Finnish restaurant that shares the hotel lobby but it also serves the breakfast buffet, included in our room rate, which was filled with fresh and healthy traditional Finnish options.

They also have a trendy bar which locals go to as well as all the international travellers, most of whom seem to be over on business with Nokia, and a good Italian restaurant with v.

They have a couple of quality restaurants in the hotel, and a tiny night club, too, but we only had our superb breakfast there.

Service was excellent and we had no broblems with the staff.

I have never experienced such friendly and complete service from the entire staff.

The lobby has several sitting areas all with its own hyper designed theme.

Helsinki Day Spa situated next to the hotel offers that and much more.

down to the city centre or the bus/train stations, there is a sauna in the basement level of the hotel that you must reserve a time for individual use - is very nice.

Third Issue: I could not connect to the Wireless Internet provided free by the hotel.

This could indicate a problem with my laptop, but during the 3 dys I was logged on to a total of 7 other free Wireless accesspoints with no problems.

Location is superb, clean and the hotel is well located, rooms are high design/style.

The bathroom was very clean and modern, but the open-style shower means that the bathroom floor gets wet each time you have a shower.

The decor of the rooms or the hotel in general cannot be compared with Klaus K or Kämp, but it's all fresh and pleasant to the eye and service is typically Finnish, efficient and friendly.

The bathroom was pristine (and by my New York standards, luxurious).
