Very friendly & clean motel, would stay again because of the convieniance to beach and shops etc.

The units were light, airy, very clean and comfortable. There was ample room for two adults and two children and the sea views were a bonus!The people who ran it were friendly and helpful and more importantly happy to be flexible about my booking. It was also wonderfully suited for the budget conscious for two reasons; 1) the cost of the stay was cheap and 2) the amenities which included all kitchen implements, large fridge and microwave meant that we didnt have to eat out or buy take away. Lastly as people who went for the triathlon we also had room to store our bikes and gear and could easily train in the ocean and on our bikes as the area is fantastically suited for both! . A very big thumbs up from us :)

The friendliness of Kate and Andrew. I couldn't connect my business laptop using the Password so Andrew went out of his way to give me the 8 digit code so I could connect up and do some work.Thank you for a comfortable,relaxing stay.

It had a homely feel about the place.With the beach just across the road and restaurants just down the road.

No hand towles in bathroom.

Really good value for a 2 bedroom appartment. Located on the main esplanade, only a minute from the beautiful beach. Bookings for Fraser Island,whale watching etc can be made. Some good restaurants within walking distance. Limited local bus service. very friendly and helpful managers.

All the basics are there, reasonably clean. Good value for money.

Nothing - all was good !!

Kingfisher was a great stay - the rooms are spotless and offer 2 bedrooms, living area as well as kitchen. The apartments come with free WI-FI which is very helpful. There are also pool and bbq facilities. But best of all it is a stone throw to the beach - if you fancy a romantic stroll at night or fun in the water it's no hassels. Big Supermarkets are a 15minute walk and a smaller supermarket is 2 minutes away. There are plenty of nice places to eat near by also Kay & Graham are fantastic and made our stay, they were superb hosts - they booked our Fraser trip and offered lots of information on the area plus they were great to chat to. Thanks for a great stay !!!

We didn't end up staying as it is unsuitable for small children and we sadly were not able to get our money back.

The location and cleanliness. Manager couple were very friendly. Wasgood for the amily to meet up for Christmas eve and have a good time.

Glasses and other kitchen items need upgrading. That's about all that could improve our next stay.

Location was good, size of appartment was good for the 3 of us.

Having a padlock on the keys is silly. Qld is one of the hotest & humid weather of all the states of Australia and you make the cooling of the apparment near impossible to achive by keeping the key on a pad lock, the minute you get the room cool you go out for dinner, swim, shops, breakfast etc etc etc, you have to start over again when you get back. Very very Silly idea. Also having your guests pay to make sure their own appartments are cleaned before you leave otherwise get a $100 fine for cleaning, again silly.
