I don't know how long these works will take but a bus to Dunfermline train station and then a quick train would be better.

You are only a 10min bus ride away from Dunfermline town centre and the bus passes the hotel evetry 15mins.

The rooms have trouser press, tea and coffee (which is replaced every day), iron and ironing board, hairdrier, television, very comfortable beds.

Whilst the long dark corridors reminded me of a hall of residence insider the ground floor room was brighter and the bathroom in particular was very clean and spacious.

Bathrooms are quite a good size, with very powerful showers over the bath.

Hotel very clean and very clean bedroom and bathroom.

Room I was in with my girlfriend was good and clean and had TV and a clean bathrom.

There was a good choice of quality food from the bar, staff were excellent and secondly the room was of a high standard.

Breakfast was great and so was the evening meal.

For example, the breakfast room had an infestation of ants and the roof in the dining leaked profusely!

This was made more apparent when, in the middle of taking my food order, the bar staff asked me to wait while he not only went to see the person who was gesticulating wildly ( her bread had not yet arrived!

50 for 'continental' just didn't seem like good value as the night before we'd stayed in the Marroitt Glasgow for the same price, it was very smart and modern and breakfast was all you could eat inclusive.

Excellent value for money, lovely decoration and pleasant greeting from the reception staff.

We thought the decor was very tired and all the staff I met were very efficient and friendly.

The staff on the whole were helpful and courteous however, there were several occasion where ignorance and discourtesy were shown.

There was another group staying at the hotel and i felt that all the staff priority was concerning there welfare.

On the plus side it was quiet, not many guests and some of the staff were friendly and helpful.

The staff are very friendly and courteous.

Additionally the room was clean and the food was very good.
