Directions from Dublin (via M9):

From M9 motorway take exit 8 for Kilkenny City, then take first exit at roundabout and continue straight ahead. At the next roundabout (Dublin Road Roundabout) take your second exit continuing straight.

At Bennetsbridge road roundabout take third exit and continue down the hill straight for approx 1km. At the traffic lights turn left onto Patrick Street and then take immediate first right (Hibernian Hotel on the corner is your marker).

The Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel is a very short distance ahead on your left with secure multi-storey car parking directly opposite on your right.

  The leisure centre was a great size and plenty for all of us to do, the location of the hotel was perfect, staff at all levels were pleasant. Rooms were nice and spacious, our meal in Savour was absolutely delicious.

  The leisure centre was really spacious and clean, the room rate was reduced at end of January made this stay quite reasonable, the staff were excellent very friendly. The beds were nice, and the breakfast was good.

  Location wise its perfect and near plenty of restaurants, shops and pubs, great value, staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast, i had delivered to the room, was prompt, hot and delicious.

  The breakfast the next morning was just we needed to get us started for a day of sightseeing and room was spotlessly clean as were all the public areas in the Hotel. Service was excellent overall, in particular the bar staff were great.
