I had expected a more isolated beachfront location and did not think I would be waking up in the morning to the sounds of cars coming and going from a parking lot that was located close behind our grouping of bungalows.
Charming nestled in the tropical rainforest next to the beach, amazing location and a lovely private bungalow tucked away beside the lagoon.
If ever there again I would opt for a quiet garden or pond location.
Right from Peter meeting us at the airport with the courtesy bus to Mandy meeting us with a welcome drink and then Peter taking us to our room with a guided tour on the way, we knew our travel agent had done us proud.
As promised there was a free shuttle bus from the airport and a welcome cocktail before a member of staff took us on a brief tour of the grounds and showed us to our 'moud'.
There was another small room attached which housed the wardrobe and led to the bathroom, which consisted of a very small vanity unit, shower over the bath and a toilet.
Our Only constructive feedback is that the bungalow furniture/decor is a bit outdated and the Kingsize bed was 2 beds made into one.
The accommodation is straightforward enough with bath & shower room, mini bar, tv etc, although we were in the cheaper end of the accommodation so no doubt you can have more if you want it.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean.
The bed, bathroom, cleaning also very much like an average hotel.
The food in the restaurant is a culinary delight, especially all of the local fishes and the multitude of fresh fruit for breakfast.
The same as any a la carte restaurants so don't expect it to be cheap but quality of food is A+++ and the atmosphere in the restaurant is also something we really appreciated, it was relaxing, romatic, and we just loved the food.
A central reception/bar/restaurant building constructed to a tropical island design, wonderful place and the staff were extremely friendly professional.
No matter who you dealt with, from reception, to restaurant staff, bar staff, just every body was so helpful in what ever you needed.
We only ate in the restaurant once, but the meal was very nice if a bit overpriced.
The front desk, concierge,restaurant staff were very friendly and informative.
Service was excellent, staff in the restaurant were fantastic.
The staff were friendly, public rooms were great and the food/service was pleasant.
The larger of the two, which is near the restaurant, has a swim through cave , spa pool and waterfall and the smaller pool is split with a waterfall separating the two.
My granddaughter loved the free formed pool with waterfall spa and rock cave!
There were two swimming areas, one with a hot pool and the smaller one was tucked away in the garden, both delightlfully designed to fit the location.
Although you were charged to use the internet, wireless.
The room was clean, restaurant staff were excellent and dinner was also delivered to a high standard off an extensive menu.
Service is excellent throughout, the owners have spent a great deal of effort and the rooms are extremely clean.
The rooms were large and comfotable and very clean.
The room was more than adequate, clean and right on the beach.
