Great location you could almost jump onto the slopes from my bedroom and the hotel couldnt be better located for the ski lift as is situated next to.

The location is great right next to the ski area and the hotel also has an excellent storage room for ski boots.

The location couldn't be better for access to the slopes - it was directly opposite the gondola.

The Spa center is fantastic, just near the first station of the ski gondola and situated in the foot of the Pirin mountain is by far the most convenient.

Also if you can stretch to it, have a private transfer from the airport as the roads in Bulgaria once you get off the motorways are absolutely terrible.

In the bedroom we had a comfy king sized double bed, a Samsung LCD flatscreen TV and a large modern bathroom with separate tub and a powerful shower unit, everything brighly lit and sparkling clean.

There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, a heated outdoor pool and hot-tub, 2 saunas, 2 steam rooms, a snow room and hot beds.

The hotel was perfect, our rooms were spacious with a king size bed, seating area and impressive flat screen TV.

To top it all, on the final day the maid didnt even enter either mine or my collegues room, so we had no fresh towels or bed made despite having been out of the room from 7am til 6.

The Spa 'Wellness Centre' was just what we needed after a day of skiing - indoor and outdoor pools, number of saunas, steam rooms, snow room, gym, indoor and outdoor jacuzzi/ hot tub all in excellent condition.

The main dining room (also used for breakfast and buffet lunch) buffet dinner had a good selection of four main hot dishes, plus salads and soup.

A top culinary tip : there are some sinful chocolate desserts only available in the sumptuous lobby bar area which aren't sold in the restaurants.

Attentive from the chambermaids to the bar staff to the guy in the ski room, meals fine we didnt have a bad meal.

The staff were very helpful, the rooms were fantastic and the bar food was also good.

Various types of saunas, delicious meals and we reccomend Friends bar for hot wine.

The room we stayed in had a lovely view of the mountains, sTaff were very friendly - hotel was very quiet and service was excellent.

Bell boys hung around chatting, whilst you struggled with your bags, reception never gave anyone the messages that had been left for them, maintenance was non exsistant and the maid service was unpredictable.

So its little wonder why the service levels from the staff were so poor.

The hotel employees were not service oriented.

The gondola is right outside, the pool and spa are are superb and there is an outside pool and jacuzzi overlooking the mountains.

The Zalez Spa area was lovely after a hard days skiing, a nice heated indoor pool and jacuzzi, and then an outdoor heated pool and hot tub for the brave.

Beautifully designed, with a good sized indoor pool and jacuzzi, a heated outdoor pool plus an outdoor hot tub for 4 persons.

Always willing to go the extra mile, the staff is really friendly and rooms are excellent and clean.

A luxury hotel, excellent service and clean and well appointed rooms.

Going home is good as you get to see Bulgaria as you travel along, service is wonderful and the rooms are wide and clean.
