The location was excellent, a very beautiful setting.

Very expensive both accommodation and the restaurant, dinner portion sizes very small for the price.

They had no record of this booking. Fortunately they had spare rooms so world war three didnt erupt! Someone needs to check the booking confirmation processes as i'm NOT impressed that this became my problem at check in

Very scenic setting in a peaceful environment. Good walk trail & a very good restaurant.

We purchased a bottle of red wine at the restaurant with our dinner & were charged $28. we called into the donnelly winery on the way home & purchased the same bottle for $59 per dozen which we know the resort would have been paying less again. This is called shafting people. The serving of the pork on the menu for a main should have been for an entree especially at the price.

The cabin was well set out and very comfortable. The location is fantastic and the activities on offer are brilliant. The abundance of wildlife is also a fantastic experience for the kids.

The cabins could do with a few more basic utensils, pots, bowls etc. and an oven. Could also do with some better signage to find the cabins

Being my first visit I was already in awe of the forest's beauty as we approached the Resort. Our room overhung the lakes edge and the beauty out across the lake to the wilderness of the forest was so spectacular. I have stayed in places such as Lake Louise and others across the world but Karri Valley Resort certainly has its own unequity. Our suite's balcony and front wall (which was a wall of glass)faced the winter sun and was so cozy . One afternoon we were entertained by several green parrots sitting on balcont handrail. The trail walks are a delight.Interesting with pictures and descrptions of plant or bird.Unfortunately I had a nasty cold and could not push myself to the walk to the falls. We were booked for 2 nights and were able to extend to 3 which was greatly appreciated. The Resturant's menu offered good choices and wine list likewise both with excellent prices Highly recomended Relaxing Peaceful Tranquil Serene and ofcourse Romantic.

This was one of many trips I've made to Karri Valley resort over the past 11 years. The natural bush and surroundings are what keeps me returning, I would hope the resort as it is, never alters. The atmosphere of being hidden in the bush and not feeling as if you are disturbing that natural bush too much is wonderful. High rise resorts may have their place in some areas, but not here. Its pleasing to know this stunning area has not succumbed to the false belief that only in a high rise or ultra modern hotel/motel can a person enjoy a break.

The planned activities for children and the "Rangers Club" have fallen by the wayside. On this trip I had brought my 6 yr old grandson with me, before him I had often brought my 4 children here, they learnt so much about the bush and the animals in the bush from the activities and the club, but my grandson has missed out.

I enjoyed the beautiful location, friendly staff and activities, especially the archery.

The food was very good especially fresh vegetables, and open fire cosy.

The staff were friendly and helpful, we ordered room service which was ready quickly and was reasonable. The bed linen was lovely and soft as it was very good quality. The view across the lake from our balcony was beautiful especially in the morning. We didn't have any problems with parking even though our room was next to reception area and the restaurant.

We had assumed there would be a kettle, fridge and toaster in the room, but there was no toaster which would have been useful to us. There was a hairdryer and iron provided and the iron was handy. We stayed in a lakeside cabin which had two outdoor chairs on the balcony and one chair at the desk in the cabin. To sit and chat or to watch TV inside, we had to sit or lay on the bed, a small sofa would be useful. However, there wasn't anything which we didn't like about the cabins or resort.

Perfect for weekend getaway, very peaceful and lovely place. Driving down to Karri Valley Resort, 4 hrs drive from Perth is very nice for those who wants to get out from the city.

The peace and quiet, easy access to a multitude of interesting and beautiful places with an excellent but reasonably priced restaurant complete with a choice of first class wines.

The tea bags in the room were of low quality and tasted terrible, we were forced to go out for a much needed cup of decent tea. The water was superb to drink straight from the tap so it had to be the tea I'm afraid.
