There is a gem of a 'pasticeria' just behind the hotel hich adds value to the hotel and the staff are all very helpful.
It is in a safe location and the staff are professional and helpful.
A practical location altough too far out of the city and the staff are professional and helpful.
Lungomare (sea view sidewalk) to the train station.
We arrived and were offered a a double room with shower or a room with tub and king bed.
The tub was tempting, but we decided separate beds would be more comfortable.
Rooms and bathrooms were spotless, the breakfasts and service were very good and the free use of the internet was a bonus.
The bath is blue and white tile, very calming.
This review is being written in the hotel's comfortable living room lobby, where a computer with free internet is provided.
Breakfast is provided and includes fruit, deli meats, breads and yogurt.
Breakfast is quite a spread of rolls, cheese, meats and they have several lounge rooms and free internet access.
We asked the manager at various times to call the ferry office, the car rental office and whether there were any restaurants nearby, and they always found out for us.
We were very pleased with the breakfast, which is served from 7:30 to 10 but it was not usually completely set out until 8 a.
There were no restaurants nearby, but plenty of bars with calzones, pizzerias and roasterias where you can get a good sandwich.
Inside the hotel was possible to admire a very good selection of china from Vietri and the staff was helpful.
Hotel K was a great value for we needed and the staff were very friendly.
The staff are all very helpful, all speak English although if you know some Italian it is useful.
The reception area and lobby are comfortably furnished with couches and chairs, antique pictures and lots of books.
No matter how you arrive in Salerno, there are numerous signs directing one to Hotel K which has car parking facilities.
Only one fault there was no swimming pool or area to sunbathe.
Also, there is free internet in the lobby.
The rooms here are small and simple, but they are very clean.
The friendly manager mentioned here was not on premises during our stay, the rooms were very clean.
