Jw Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes - 奥兰多

The location of the resort hotel makes a short jaunt into the local neighborhood for a local restaurant impossible without transportation.

The location was great, not being too far from all the attractions and theme parks, but detached enough to feel like you're in your own private resort away from Orlando.

This is my second business trip there and the conference attendees love this location.

A one way trip to the Florida Mall (which is not that far away) was quoted at $30 each way, compared to a Yellow Cab taxi of $13 each way.

The draw back to the cab was that we had to wait one hour for one to show up at the hotel and that was after the taxi dispatch was called 3 times to inquire where our cab was.

Comfortable beds, in room safe, hair dryer, iron, nice bath products, bath robes, & spacious bathrooms.

The rooms are small but very nice (we had a king bed with desk, chair, sleeper sofa and that 37" LG LCD tv), The beds have feather top mattresses and a feather duvet and you melt down in.

The room is also oddly designed in how you don't see the bed when you walk in like most, it is down this narrow passageway after the bathroom, and it is not a large room.

The suite had a seperate bedroom, living room, dressing area and a large bathroom.

The hotel is exceptionally well maintained both inside and out, rooms are of a good size (all four of us managed comfortably in one room) and bathrooms especially are larger than your average hotel (including a separate bath and shower).

We ate at Quenches, pool side bar/restaurant, and their casual food is delicious.

The service at Marriott is gracious, the food at their restaurants is delicious (and pricey - always go with the stay-for-breakfast package), and the rooms are comfortable and finely decorated.

There are two restaurants, and although we only ate in the one on the first floor, people who ate in the lobby level restaurant told us it was quite good.

Food was decent, good breakfast buffet, service at restaurant was not as good at dinner.

The food was fantastic at all the places we ate at Citron (JW Marriott) for breakfast, lunch & dinner, as well as at the Vineyard at the Ritz.

Great services and staff, I had a different service everyday.

I thought that was pretty good service, and it was done without a manager involved which showed me that they really empowered the staff to satisfy the customer.

Last evening as we were sitting in the lobby bar, we watched this SAME FAMILY heading to the parking lot, wearing Marriott pool towels!

Nice pool complex with a zero entry area for little kids, excellent spa ($15/day to use the lap pool, whirlpool steam, sauna & lockers, but it’s such a nice, relaxing adults-only spot that it’s worth it.

The spa is world class and has an excellent hi-tech gym.

I did not like having to pay extra for wireless internet but I said something to the manager and she rmeoved the charges from my bill.

Internet access is wired only and costs $12.

Overall a great hotel, staff wonderful and rooms very nice and clean.

The guestrooms were pretty typical for nice places in the US - nothing fantastic but very clean and well maintained.

Room was clean, definitely get a pool view room, the other side of hotel overlooks a field and neighborhood.

The housekeeping service kept the room ultra-clean.

Some of the other reviews had negatives about the room cleanliness, I manage office buildings so I really notice those kind of things but found everything spotless.
