Jw Marriott Hotel Mumbai - 孟买

Nothing can compare to the JW - it is an extraordinary hotel and well deserves to be one of the most highly regarded in Mumbai (despite the location and terrible, really terrible traffic problems outside!

First of all its located in one of the best locations in mumbai and very good hotel.

The location is great, beach ( Johu beach is nice for evening walks and the hotel is convenient to the airport you are going or coming lat at night.

Also, if you need to get a taxi to go around Mumbai then opposite the hotel there are lots of taxis (just remember to haggle), the ones the hotel provide are a bit more expensive.

He is a total gem in a sea of dangerous looking motorised rickshaws and old style taxi cabs!

The rooms were adequate, but there was an error in our reservation (two double beds instead of one bed as requested) that was only taken care of after escalating complaints to the hotel manager.

The rooms are large and very well decorated and luxurious, bathroom is delectable.

Internet in the rooms didn't work for hours,Reception never answered the phone at night,tired rooms requiring refurbishment (eg dirty curtains,mould between joins in the bathrooms,etc).

Impressive temples, huge carved Buddhas, meeting rooms, and bedrooms---and lots of monkeys sitting around.

The standard room had two double beds and a fabulous view over the pool.

We enjoyed eating at the chinese restaurant (spices) at the hotel and the breakfast and dinner buffet in the main restaurant area is lovely.

The food in the restaurants is really good, but there is a fab restaurant in Bandra called Spice Tree, definitely recommend it, and the Lobster Butter Garlic is to die for!

Restaurants are great, breakfast is superb with high quality products.

Only one of the onsite restaurants is worth eating at, and thats Spices which is Thai food.

Moreover staff are excellent, the food in all the restaurants is really great and the pool is absolutely amazing.

The service is pretty inconsistant right throughout the hotel (except front desk and lounge staff who are very good),.

Two weeks of superb service, hospitable staff and excellent food.

This JW has a great view of the beach, hotel staff were excellent and the service was one of the best I have ever experienced.

The pool and lobby etc is very nice but I don't think I will stay here again because it wasnt good value for the money you pay.

There are many good points and features of this hotel such as the range of restaurants and food, gym and pool area.

Over the next three days while occasionally sitting in the garden by the pool, I noted that there were at least 10 rooms always unoccupied (no lights on AT ALL) which was aggravating.

Wireless internet access in the hotel but at a charge of approx £5 for 1 hour.

The rooms are clean, food is exceptional and there is a very good choice of bars.

The service was great, my room was spotless and the lotus cafe breakfast was excellent.

The rooms are clean, in excellent condition, and you feel so relaxed, compared to when your making the journey or when you outside on Juhu Tara Road.

Rooms quiet and clean, most with good views of the sea.

Our room was a bit musty, but very clean with all of the amenities of a 5 star hotel.
