The bar prices are very reasonable for hotel prices.
Very good location, excellent hotel and overall not bad for the money paid.
All in all we thought it was reasonably good value for a very nice hotel in a good location.
The Southampton Boatshow, again an opportunity for the hotel to double their prices for the weekend.
The bar fascilities were excellent providing a good area top sit down, hotel was situated in a convenient location for access to the docks and overall the staff were very pleasant.
Very good central location, 2) More helpful staff - knowledgeable about shops nearby and super for easily walking to town or for anyone arriving by train for an overnight stay before sailing from Southampton.
Stayed at this hotel as a family in April 2008; location was great, close to shops, theatre and restaurants.
Certainly when we were in Southampton at night we saw many stag and hen parties and taxis had notices in them suggesting that there was a charge for "soiling".
Parking is very secure in the underground car park and the hotel offer a discounted rate of?
The room was huge with a king sized bed, sofa, desk, clothes rail, television, phone, hairdryer, tea & coffee making facilities and a full length mirror.
Our bedroom was large with both a double bed and a single bed, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and comfortable with a nice view of the park.
Staff were very friendly & helpful & my room was excellent with both a double & single bed and excellent facilities.
Anyway, the three couples had rooms of varying sizes, all with a double bed (ours was a king-size) and a bed settee as well, so you could get quite a lot of people in.
The room was basic but spotless - if a little dreary , very small double bed.
The breakfast was good and we found that the bar and restaurant food was ok too and ok value for money.
In the evening we had a fairly-priced pub style meal in the restaurant, and in the morning, nice toast and hot drinks in the café-bar.
The restaurant and bar were also great, as the food was impeccable.
Additionally the room was clean, the breakfast bar was well stocked.
I think a great value for the money, clean room, lots of restaurants in walking distance (not high class ones, but great variety of cuisine and atmosphere).
Friendly front desk staff and she complained to the manager he just said we will cook you a fresh one.
The location is excellent, didn't look as run-down as many city hotels I have visited and the reception staff are extremeley pleasant and welcoming.
Good value for money, price was reasonable and the maids were in the large lobby area.
I also liked the fact that housekeeping was available until the evening for later cleaning.
Hotel recommended but the parking arrangements described here are definitely to be avoided!
Wireless internet is an additional 10GBP/night.
Reasonably priced high speed internet access a big plus point.
The room was clean and breakfast the next morning was slightly better.
The front desk was also helpful, check-in was friendly and room was clean and comfortable.
The rooms were spotless and very comfortable, Breakfast price was high but very enjoyable and good value Now the town well Shoppers delight, the 3 shopping centres are 5 min walk from the Inn.
The bathroom was clean and the breakfast was excellent.
The room was clean, large, and functional, nothing fancy.
