The visitor is immediately mesmerized by the theatrical, two-story lobby which features bird cages suspended from the ceiling over a rippling black-lacquered sculpture. This sets the tone of the visit in this stylish 1920s Jing Ang building that features an on-site Italian restaurant and a lounge with complimentary evening wine. And what follows does not disappoint: rooms (some of which have private balconies) with timber-paneled walls, designer signature furnishings and original photography and paintings by contemporary artists, mix with kitchen pods fully outfitted with microwaves and coffee makers, and baths with heated towel racks and custom toiletries.

In Shanghai to try the famous Jia Hotel, very good service from the staff on the front desk and rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Nice hotel sits in a traditional building, excellent service and complimentary breakfast in the coolest of dining rooms.
Rooms are spacious and comfortable, italian restaurant was suprisingly good as is the bar.

Great hospitality location, fantastic decor and in a lovely 1920's building right on Nanjing Road West. The price is good too, the lobby is breathtakingly cool and is like walking into an art gallery, the staff is very friendly and nice. Beds are very comfortable and the little kitchenette is quite well equipped. Breakfast is excellent, the fresh fruits section can be improved and the traditional Shanghai soup dumplings 4 for 5 RMB.

Location wise 's practically perfect and great Boutique Hotel. The w nanjing metro station is just right beside our building and the service in the lobby is good as usual. The staff treatment is superb and the Jia concierge is extremely friendly and guest oriented. The rooms are really big, pizza is fantastic.

Nice location just 2 mins from metro, great hotel and interior is charming like an artist studio. Cold service from staff act like theyre too cool, the rooms are very comfy quiet and the Italian restaurant at the second floor is one of best in Shanghai.

Central location right next to nanjing xi lu metro station, decor is simple and minimal, the rooms are big and very comfortable. Nice continental breakfast, albeit a bit strange to sit in a bar to have cereal and new JIA in Shanghai is fantastic.

For afternoon, drinks etc_ the you can go to the lounge area, its free the whole day and in Shanghai to try the famous Jia Hotel. Air conditioning efficient quiet and breakfast is excellent.
