I recently stayed at Jacobs Inn for 3 days on a leisure trip. The location is fantastic, just a 5-minute walk from Temple Bar and about 15 minutes from Grafton Street. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the hotel was lovely and clean throughout. Additionally, the lock system felt a little bit weird to try but everything else was great.
Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

I loved how functional the room was for the price. The beds were clean and it was great to have a bathroom to ourselves. Breakfast was perfect. They had white, wheat and brown bread and cereal. Coffee was great!
Location was about a five minute walk farther than I would have liked. But that's not a big deal at all.

Friendly staff accommodated my request for a bottom bunk. Beds had curtains for extra privacy. Key card and door code provided added security. Walking distance to attractions. Great breakfast with pancakes. Luggage room available, central location. Clean and quiet, highly recommended.

I felt safe in the room, and liked that there was a 24hr check-in. Breakfast was good. Go on the free walking tour, our guide was very funny! And I learned a lot about the city.
Was not as close to city center as I wanted.

I recently stayed at Jacobs Inn in Dublin for one night and was pleasantly surprised. The friendly staff, great location, and excellent facilities were all fantastic. The price for a bed in a 12-bed dorm, including a hearty breakfast, was unbeatable. I loved the cozy and private pod beds, complete with storage and USB ports. The communal areas were spacious and provided ample work space. The convenient airport bus stop nearby was an added bonus. a lovely hostel with accommodating staff and a lively atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

It is a superb, clean renovated hostel. I ahve been all across the world backpacking, and this hostel is like a good reputable hotel at the fraction of the cost! The rooms are amazingly clean, fresh feeling to it. It is not like any other sweatbox room you get in most hostels. Bathroom is the place to see how a place gets cleaned and it was flawless... Truely amazing and will recommend it to anyone... Stayed in room with 4 beds, ideal for a lads weekend out for a rugby game or the gaa... Really recommend it!

The staff were very helpful and friendly, the facilities were very very good.
The lockers had very very small locks that were very easy to pick, I did it with just a hair pin. Unfortunately you could not use your own lock. Maybe they could invest in some better locks. The other guests were quite noisy in the rooms after 10pm but apart from more signs..i dunno how to solve that better.

Much more than expected. Though minimilist, the ensuite room for four was large, clean and comfortable. Cozy quilts, warm heater, flat screen tv, large bathroom with hot water. Breakfast was humble, but there was lots of it... Cereal and toast, butter, jelly, juices, coffee, tea. Filtered water was provided to refill drinking bottles. The staff was fun and very helpful. Great value for the money!
