  The weather was beautiful, the beach great and the water awesome. The beach is nice as is the pool except there is no shade. Owners viewed the place differently (although they agreed about the service, but had a kind of que sera attitude) but talking with others made us realize that we didn't have overly high expectations that weren't being met.

  We asked to move to the main building and were even told there were rooms available. Gratuities are automatically added to all services. It seems the staff knows this and are in no hurry to serve you. There was beach service one day and then never saw anyone again.

• The only 2 people I can say that were consistent in being nice was Kenny the bartender and Clarissa one of the waitresses.

  The front desk and waitstaff are rude. Terrible service/ Rude employees.

  We got our luggage and hitched a ride in one of the shuttles outside the airport. For whatever reason, i assumed it was complimentary for there was no sign posted of any cab fare. Upon entering the lobby, the staff didn't come off as very friendly. We were told we had to wait a few hours until i room was ready. When we walked up to the unit, the room looked spotless and there was no reason why we couldn't enter the room. 2 bedroom with a full kitchen, 2 patios living room and dining aea and a flat screen tv with a dvd player. But even if you had to ask for a glass of water, you feel like it's asking for too much.

  My bofriend and i were then directed to this office a few doors down from the lobby where we had to register and stuff. Again, the staff wasn't very welcoming, but the food was good! I was tired of waiting for our room so when took it upon ourselves to at least see where the room was.

  Very little shade from the sun on the beach and around the pool. Fortunately, we made sure not to interact or rely on the resort employees as much as possible.

  The rooms were nice and the resort shuttled us to the local grocery store where we could pick up a few items for our stay. The beach was beautiful the beach staff very helpful. That meant you would have to take a taxi back.

  The entire staff was helpful although the food service was a little slow. The resort provides a shuttle service to different areas and also if you want ot go on excursions while there, book them through the resort not from the cruise personnel. One real bummer was that their shuttle service to Port Lucaya stopped running at around 5:00.

  There was this lady talking to me and at the same time to the customer on the phone while eating. The Coconuts restaurant is over priced and not even good! Room furnitures are new and very nice but room rate is too expensive. The only place that is fine is Port Lucaya with sourvenirs shops and some good restaurants.

  They don't have daily maid service, and no bellman, concierge, or shuttle service. At Island Seas, there was a front desk person to check us in. A concierge and activities coordinators to arrange fun things for us to do, even off the resort property.

  A bellman to take our luggage to our room. Yup, every day, they came in, replaced our towels, make the bed (and replace the sheets every other day), and even put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher and started it when we had left them there one morning. The grounds are well kept, as are the rooms.

  I will say that all the men and Bahamian people in general were mostly very friendly, smiled a lot and tried to be helpful. After my wonderful check in experience (where I couldn't get to my room for another 3 HOURS), I decided I'd better make sure to take the time to do the inventory. I wasn't happy with the maid service either.

  And I believe you when you say the chick at the front desk "laughed" at you. It was probably the same one that laughed at me when I asked her upon attempting to check in if I had to go and sit with someone who would give me an "information packet".

  Every staff member we came across was so pleasant and friendly, and the resort itself was just beautiful. Our room wasn't on the beach side, but we had a view of the canal. At first we thought we would rather be closer to the bar and pool, but right out our back door was a huge (and somewhat secret to most people) hot tub. I have never encountered a friendlier staff. The concierge and bellman always went out of their way for us.

  The walk to the beach wasn't bad, and with the restaurant construction I am glad we ended up where we did. The shuttle did get crowded at times, but was on time and sometimes a few mintues early.

  I was placed across the street, on the bay, and my view was a dirty parking lot and the roof of a boat rental. Maid service was very marginal.

  The free lunch was terrible.
