Given we'd only chosen this hotel as a one-night stopover I was more than delighted by its character and olde-worlde charm, particularly given its bargain basement price.
Location is great, the Buffalo Bill Museum is also excellent and the hotel down the street we moved to-- Wonderful.
The location was fantastic and cody itself was great.
Whilst there’s no doubt that this hotel has a lot going for it with its location, background and ambience, there is a need for it to drop the sense of ‘take it or leave it’.
I then asked about the location and times for church services.
As for the room, we had two large windows that looked out to an emergency exit pathway (four feet wide and full of junk) then another rooms window?
True, the building was built by Buffalo Bill Cody, so there are generally interesting features in the public areas, but our room had common furniture, not at all Victorian, and a barely-acceptable bathroom with a linoleum floor.
The room was nice and clean; kids loved the old-timey bathroom!
Our room was a good size and the air conditioner worked wonderfully!
The staff are truly wonderful, the rooms are large and the food at the buffet is very good.
The dining room is awesome and the breakfast buffet is wonderful.
The toilet was really cool and food in the restaurant was good for dinner.
Ate at the breakfast buffet and proceeded to pay $10 for a plate of scrambled eggs as all other items were bad.
Stop in to see the historic bar you are in town and the hotel is lovely.
I dropped off my bike just as they opened and walked back to the Irma for breakfast.
Unique historical hotel and friendly staff.
Super scenic views even in town and the service is always great.
The decor was interesting and the staff at Irma's was great.
After that, the service was sloppy and we got the impression that “we know we are popular so live with it” Then they forgot to bill us for the dinner.
The lobby was nice, with an old Western look, as was the porch, but the entire hotel was so filled with cigarette smoke that it was difficult to enjoy anything, including their "famed all-you-can-eat buffets" through the blue haze.
Arrived at 6:15pm and had to park two streets away as all parking was taken.
At check in I asked were to park in order to unload luggage and was told to come back after 8:30pm when some parking may be available?
Staff were generally friendly and the room was nice and clean.
Hotel were clean and room was noisy - near the kitchen.
