The location is great -- just five minutes from the French Quarter.

It's also in a perfect location just a few blocks from the French Quarter and Harrah's.

The location is great and far enough off canal to miss the noise and get some rest after coming in at 5am but close enough to walk to bourbon and the casino without worries.

They arranged our taxi the night before and made sure the driver was on time.

He highly recommended we take a cab- not for the comfort but for our safety.

The room was all right, although there was some noise from the air conditioning, the large fan above the bed and the toilets/showers/baths being used by other guests.

We had room 203, which was a smallish room with nice neutral decor, cd player, a king-sized bed, large bathroom with bathtub, aveda products, robes, etc.

We had to upgrade our room on arrival (for an additional $100) because they had given us a room with 1 double bed instead of a room with 2 single beds as requested.

I had a small room with a queen bed and an outstanding bath.

The rooms are beautiful, huge windows in front of the bed over-looking the city, The bed is huge and very soft with tons of pillows.

The lobby is georgous, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, the restaurant has great food and the bar has a great vibe.

A bar in the lounge was very convenient, pillows were good also and lemongrass restaurant downstairs was delicious.

In fact, there are better restaurants closer to the Intl House than you can find in the FQ (notably, Restaurant August and Cuvee).

Great , hip bar with candelight and good music (also a local's hangout), walking distance to Harrah's, Huey's 24/7 (a great casual but hip restaurant with good food) and just across Canal Street from the French Quarter (near Cafe Du Monde).

We had lunch at the restaurant, Lemon Grass, and it was an excellent meal.

The hotel staff was very disorganized and for 3 days in a row we had no maid service.

They failed to service my room one day, even after I went to the front desk and politely asked them to have my room serviced.

The relaxed feeling the International has makes you feel right at home and a free terminal in the lobby is great.

The second night, a voodoo altar had been set up in the lobby and it was there till we checked out.

The lobby is a great place to meet up with friends before going out.

Free wireless internet, and they are happy to help you figure out where to eat, where to shop, etc, etc.

One high speed internet connection in the entire hotel.

Great view, room was clean, we had a non smoking room.

This hotel had a good rate, all the staff members were very friendly and helpful, my room was clean.

Service is good and the rooms are always clean.
