Intercontinental Taba Heights

This hotel is situated in the best location in Taba heights for walking to the Waterworld and the 3 Corners Shopping Centre than any of the other hotels.

Best location, next to the golf course and close to the diving centre but away from the other hotels.

The resort and location I describe as having the “Tranquillity of the Maldives and the Luxury of Dubai”.

Taba Airport is a small military airport, with limited facilities and no public transport or taxi service so ensure that you have pre-arranged pick up or a coach transfer through your holiday provider.

Also, because of security, they don't let taxis and transport vans into the property so be prepared to have the luggage hauled from the secured point.

The rooms have two beds but the beds are not double beds, we shared a room with our 15 year old and for two people to share a bed was quite a feat!

The Inter is by far the best in Taba Heights - large rooms, big beds, spacious bathrooms, slippers and robes, mini bar, complimentary bottled water every day, fridge, tea and coffee facilities, excellent service from all staff, clean, great food.

Our room was good, double bed, enough space in the bathroom and full amenities.

The rooms were very large with 6ft bed and large bathroom with walk in shower big enough for a party of 6.

We were impressed with the size and cleanliness of the room, lovely large bathroom, very comfortable bed, excellent views of the resort, lagoon, pool and seaside.

Cuisine - Main hotel restaurant (Crescent Building) caters for everyone, we had great breakfasts there, rarely visited for lunch due to sampling Tapas/Meze at the Lagoon Bar (very reasonably priced.

My husband and I were all inclusive and the main buffet restaurant food was varied, well presented, and always replenished regularly for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and we often ate later for evening dinner and same applied.

If you just don't fancy eating in the AI restaurant at night you can eat in the other hotels restaurants or some of the restaurants in town and get a discount from the cost of the a la carte meal.

We found the food selection so good at the buffet, that we did not try any of the other restaurants, the staff in the restaurants were so alert, friendly and attentive that it was a joy to go for breakfast-lunch or dinner.

If you want to take food with you (as it is a long day) we would advise that you try and make some sandwiches from the fresh bread in the restaurant as the breakfast and lunch box we requested left a lot to be desired!

The staff and the Managers were so friendly and polite and the service was very good.

Any problems with the room immediately sorted by the reception staff and the front office manager, Mohamed.

Waiter service was excellent in fact all the staff made you feel special without being too overly attentive.

The service was attentive and the staff friendly.

But we did enjoy the indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.

Failing that there is a wonderful indoor pool complex complete with sauna's, jacuzzi's etc.

One of the big benefits is the healthclub, with big indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steambath and bar, everything open till 9.

The hotel is beautiful, very clean and tidy, rooms cleaned daily, excellent staff and very happy people.

Rooms were extremely spacious and always clean and tidy.

The hotel room: nice clean tidy loved the 6 person walk in shower!

The rooms were lovely, large and cleaned each day, the hotel itself was clean and well presented with good facilities.

Our room had plenty of space and keep spotless every day.
