Good location close to the mall and the hotel is well located opposite a major shopping centre.
It's quite a haul from the airport to the hotel, so I recommend it (rather than taking your chances on an airport taxi).
There is a shuttle bus service from the airport, which is quite convenient.
It has three bathrooms including a marble stall shower and seperate bath.
Nice hotel lots to do within the hotel great gym, the rooms are well designed.
The towels in the room are stained and worn, so is the carpet in the room.
I can say I missed only one thing and that's wireless internet access, although the cable in the room, of course is enough.
The rooms were nice and the maid on our floor was extremely pleasant and helpful.
Me and my colleagues had dinner in the small taverna-like bar, but the dishes were a little bit bland.
My favorite restaurant was TEQUILAS, a Mexican touch!
They also told us that there was a breakfast/internet/local call package for $*.
There are several restaurants on the grounds and you are located right across the street from the largest shopping mall in Central America.
The other restaurants we didn't try, but they looked nice.
The bell staff and concierge were terrific and went well beyond the call of duty.
The staff in the office and reception are poorly trained and often rude.
The Intercontinental is a very ordinary hotel with poor service at the reception desk and banquet facilities in our opinion.
The staff speaks good English and if they don't quite understand what you need will go out of their way to find an employee who can translate.
Upon checkout, we found that we were billed incorrectly, and it took 2 front desk people, a manager, and 20 minutes to get it figured out.
The pool is small, but this is really not a resort hotel.
The gym is well-equipped, actually very good.
The hotel compound is spacious, the rooms are very comfortable and clean.
