As I say we found other bars not too far from the hotel which did not add such charges and provided good value for money.
Finally, we agreed on a price of $31 for a hotel car and driver take us to the airport.
Food and beverages prices at the hotel are outrageous.
Christmas time in Prague is simply magical, but be sure to choose a hotel with good location as the taxi drivers are notorious in asking for ridiculous prices.
Very well located, short stroll to the old town and the hotel is in the best location.
It was in a great location (close to the Charles Bridge and Prague Castle).
The Hotel is in a perfect location very close to Old Town Square and all other downtown points of interest.
Catching the Bus and then Metro into town from the airport is easy and very very cheap.
The concierge helped us make several dinner reservations and reserve us a taxi for an 5:30am ride to the airport upon our return.
The room was super, good decoration, extra large beds and comfortable pillows, elemis products for the bath, full mini-bar.
The bathroom was marble, head to toe (except the tub and toilet).
Our suite was on a high floor (Room 700) with a view out over the river and the old town and was quite impressive, being spacious and well equipped with 2 sofas, a 4-seater dining table and a well stocked mini bar.
Bed was so uncomfortable - it was like a college dorm.
300 rms and their standard rooms are a bit smallish so try to get at least a club junior suite or a large suite.
Staff is helpful, breakfast is great and the views from the 9th floor restaurant are not to be missed.
The hotels restaurant and bar are world class and lively.
The breakfast buffet and the restaurant on the top floor for dinner were excellent.
especially in the champagne bar and very good food.
The breakfast was rather expensive so we ate breakfast at a bakery a couple of blocks from the hotel.
Staff is competent, but service is nothing great.
Had a 2 night stay here and was a little concerned after reading some of the reviews on here concerning staff and service.
The concierge staff was rude, and appeared to be inconvenienced when asked a few questions.
The Room Attendant was absolutely first class but the reception staff less so.
The hotel is beautiful with an elegant lobby, large rooms, and a fantastic spa and gym.
Marriott(world class) or Hilton (cybex) and the pool gets overcrowded sometimes but otherwise it is very nice and pleasant, with pool, whirlpool, gym, saunas and a small garden to sunbathe in summer.
Spa and pool area was wonderful and no extra cost.
The hotel itself was nice but very ordinary, the room was clean and not a bad size by European standards.
Rooms were spacious and clean with an excellent view to the river.
The staff were friendly, the rooms were clean and any requests we made were tended to straight away.
It is prettier on the inside than the out, but the rooms were clean (save for a stain on the top of comforter, but I think all hotel comforters are disgusting and avoid sitting on them), and the staff was very friendly.
The rooms were clean but not spectacular.
