This hotel was perfect and the activity prices were a little high.
The value of your dollar means nothing to the hotel Intercontinental Beachcomber Resort.
We are very picky about hotels and we felt this was the best location and value in Bora Bora.
I must say that at a fraction of the price, the service at these hotels was significantly better than that of the InterContinental hotels in French Polynesia.
The beautiful polynesian shows on the beach, great location and the whole place is about 1 city block long.
The location is great and the view from both hotels are equally beautiful.
The location is best in Bora Bora, knowledgeable hotel staffers I have ever met in any hotel in the world and all staff are friendly.
You can take a taxi from the resort for $8 round trip.
If you are only staying at the Le Moana, definitely take the free boat taxi to the Intercontinental Thalaso for dinner.

The bedroom had an enormous window, perfectly placed for watching the sunrise from bed.
The overwater bungalows were fully stocked with all of the amenities-glass table that opens up so you can feed the fish, 2 big screen TVs, DVD/CD players, big bathtub, shower, comfy bed, safe for valuables at no extra charge, and robes/slippers.
The service was prompt, the bathroom was very large and impressive, the restaurant food at the breakfast buffet was good.
The included dinner and breakfasts were great, and being able to go over to the Thalasso resort and use their restaurants and pool meant that we felt that we weren't stuck at our resort.
There are several restaurants, as well as an indoor/outdoor bar next to the pool.
The food at the restaurant is terrible, and very expensive, I have read in other reviews that people get sick after eating their food, for that reason, I brought with me can food, snacks and lots of water, enough to get me by for a couple of days.
They have a breakfast/lunch/dinner plan too, but you can really eat alot of breakfast and skip lunch.
The reception staff, in particular, were uninformed and could definitely use some lessons in customer service.
The front desk staff was nice however and the manager Jerome was excellent and very catering.
The staff are dressed in traditional polynesian style and the service is astonishing the resort is clean.
However, it was nice to have the ability to jump in the water at anytime without walking all the way back to the pool area, about a 10 minute round trip from the outer bungalows.
Fabulous dinner shows/entertainment, the best in all of French Polynesia and as well as a sand-bottom wading pool.
Pool is nice we only used a time or two.
Also be advised that there is very minimal internet connectivity, only one common terminal in the activites director's office, no individual high speed connections unless they have recently upgraded.
I also loved that they changed our sheets every day and did a very thorough clean, leaving fresh flowers around our room.
Furthermore staff is friendly and nice, the rooms are clean, most of the restaurants offer FREE pickup.
The reception lady was very informative and nice, the rooms were clean.
Room was clean and the breakfasts at the resort were pretty good.
The rooms are clean, well appointed, and miraculously, the CD and DVD players are very modern and actually work.
