With the money spent on parking (in addition to the Booked.net price), we could have booked a lower star hotel directly, had free parking, free wi-fi internet, and been closer to where we were visiting.
I don't know if the room location had anything to do with the fact that we got the room thru Booked.net for a very good price but I was glad I didn't pay the going rate for this expensive hotel.
So to save money and pay $70 maybe worthwhile, but I think next time, I think I’ll pass on sacrificing my comfort for the sake of saving money because at this hotel, I don’t think it’s much of saving.
Did not eat in the hotel so no comment although the menu prices seemed steep.
Clean and located within walking distance to the Galleria, the location is good for food.
25 minutes in good traffic to downtown Houston and the location is great for going out to eat.
The location was perfect and the hotel was nice.
It is almost the same distance from both Hobby and Bush airports - approx $40 cab ride in traffic ($55 if you come in during rush hour).
Cab stand outside always had a few cabs waiting, which is nice (and unusual in Houston).
When we arrived, we were told that they only had available a non-smoking room with double beds or a smoking room with a King size bed.
This made the room seem smaller, and the bed wasn't very comfortable, due to size and mattress quality.
The hotel room was a good size and the bed comfy.
The room was clean, the bed and pillows were nice and new.
I called the hotel to ask for a room with a king size bed.
Limited restaurants, but the breakfast buffet is very nice.
The lobby was huge, live pianist in the lobby, restaurant and bar.
If I may recommend a couple of restaurants where we had EXCELLENT meals at: Ibiza where our dinner was FANTASTIC and Shade where our lunch was VERY VERY GOOD.
I was part of a convention so I did not experience any of the restaurants, but the food for our event was some of the best I've ever experienced for a large group and the service was top notch.
Used the club lounge for breakfast one morning - range of fruit, cereals, breads and bagels - all adequate.
Wonderful hotel for all, the staff concierge very helpful and the room service was fantastic.
Excellent service, the concierge was very helpful and check-in was fast and efficient.
I didn't partake in the in-room mini bar, nor the fitness center, nor the pool/jacuzzi.
The pool is very small, and shallow, so I did not use it but I did use the jacuzzi.
When I left my room in the morning, it took 10 minutes for the elevator to come to my floor and take me to the lobby- what a waste of time.

45am to clean the room (NO LIE) but I guess that is because the hotel was sold out because of the music festival and the day before they did not clean the room till after 2.
