All and all it was a fabulous hotel for under $200/night in Boston, but if I was paying regular prices I would pick either a better area or a hotel with more gracious service.
Convenient for walking to the centre, good upmarket hotel at reasonable price and great lobby.
For $203 a night, this hotel is a five-star gem and an excellent value.
I can't recommend this hotel highly enough--especially for the price we paid.
Located 5 minutes from everything the location is great (10 minutes from Logan Airport).
The location is great if you want to take the T, since the Silver Station is located two blocks away.
The hotel was just built in 2006, and it's a great location - right on the harbor, next to South Station and the New England Aquarium, and close to the North End and Fanueil Hall/Quincy Market.
Near Silver Line, concierge called Water Taxi for return to airport.
To eat at a local, neighborhood restaurant, you’ll have to take a good walk, taxi or subway.

Above the bed were two sliding doors which opened a “hatch” between the bedroom and the bathroom so (I presume) one could soak in the bath and watch TV but something I have never come across before!
Our room was gorgeous--the marble bath, glass shower, and deep tub were beautiful, and we really enjoyed the flat screen tv and fine linens on the beds.
In our room, instead of a wall behind the bed, there was a pair of windows that opened into the bathroom.

We had both breakfast and lunch at their restaurant Miel and it was very good both times.
We enjoyed the bar and the restaurant and were not disappointed in the quality of the food and drinks.

I was upgraded to a harbour view room, which helped, but every impression was positive, from the front desk staff to the room fittings and layout to room service and check out.
The pool is next to the spa/fitness room.
On the plus side, the gym, pool and spa are all nice and there was no problem getting spa appointments.

FYI: The cost of wireless internet when we stayed was $6.
Everything looked brand new and I thought we may have been the first people to stay in that suite, because it was so clean and tidy.
