The cost was over half the price of Barracuda, which runs from the hotel site.
Prices were no higher than they are in any tourist resort in Egypt, and I enjoyed our stay there more than any hotel in Sharm el Sheikh.
This isn't a bad thing, but the hotel plays on the fact when they price their drinks.
Be warned, if you do need medical care outside the hotel, payment is expected in cash and in Euros, Dollars or Sterling - not local currency.
Positive: great location, beautiful beach, excellent watersport facililities.
Nice beach, well 's a fabulous location and hotel standards very high.
The location+hotel are lovely and staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Beach was superb and transfers to/from the airport were great.
The hotel is in the middle of nowhere (really - it's just bare desert for miles) and the nearest town of Hurghada (40 Km) isn't worth the taxi fair to see - so what you see in the brochure is what you get.
The cleaners keep your rooms clean and even turn down your bed, the waiters almost have a sixth sense in anticipating your needs and the management appear to run a smooth, seemless operation.
Older children watch videos and do other quiet activities while little ones can bed down in a dark room on floor mattresses.
The rooms overlooked the sea and were very nice and clean - only thing I would warn about is that the beds are very firm!
Our boys, 3 and 5 years old slept in the large sitting room and there would easily have been room for several more beds.
We had a junior suite this time as our son is now seems to occupy much more space than he did when we previously visited and whilst the standard rooms are of a good size, it was nice to have the extra space.
Breakfast was good, but lunch and dinner in the main restaurant suffered often from lack of safe choices.
FOOD: Breakfast was quite ok, but dinner in the main restaurant was regarding choice, quality and service just terrible.
The shower was powerful, the Greek bar was especially good and the buffet in the all day restaurant was very nice.
The specialist restaurants were however pretty good and had live musicians who were also very good, particularly at the Greek Restaurant and made a refreshing change from the aforementioned piped music.
The food was good in the main restaurant, with a wide selection and some cook to order dishes but not as exquisite as Club Med at El Gouna.
The hotel is very excellent and multilingual staff offer good service.

Don't miss the gym area, whirlpool bath, plunge pool and massage area!
EQUIPEMENTS : un sauna et une salle de gym très ordinaires et un court de tennis ridicule…inacceptable dans un hôtel 5 étoiles.
The pool's that have been drained down are not swimming pools.
Additionally the rooms were kept spotlessly clean, breakfast was good.
Hotel in general - clean, fantastic watersports - MW staff are great and the spa facilities are minimal - a small hot tub.
Room clean and spacious, food very good, less enthusiastic about dinner.
The hotel was clean, staff attitudes were both excellent and the room we stayed in was large.
