There was no mention of the place being on an industrial estate near Macdonalds and next door to. Funereal parlour, the room we were checked into was full of ants so we had to be moved! It was more basic traveller motel than anything else, we went for breakfast there was nothing left, and we had to wait for extra food to come out, the reception/ bar area was not open that night even though the hours and season stated it was. Then pictures of the hotel make it look a lot better than in reality!!

I found the attention to detail lacking, breakfasts were very badly managed with items running out, croissants ran out and were not quickly replaced even though there was not many people . Sausage and egg also ran out and we had to ask for some to be brought, we were told 5 min and after 25 min later we gave up and left. They did not seem to realise that they needed to ensure that items were monitored and topped up as they ran out without residents having to ask. On the Friday night we had dinner there and asked for Gin and Tonic to be told they had run out despite this being only 8pm, This led us to feel that all they wanted was fees with little effort to encourage people. A final point which should not have occurred was human stains on the blanket. Overall, it does not make us feel inclined to return

I absolutely loved the beautiful decorations throughout the hotel! The attention to detail and elegant design made me feel like I was in a grand chateau. The general areas, such as the lobby and lounge, were spacious and comfortable. As a senior woman, I appreciated that everything was easily accessible, with convenient ramps and handrails. It made getting around the hotel a breeze!

I wish the children working there had been more knowledgeable about local attractions and activities suitable for seniors.

The Grill-Restaurant had a buffet, which meant I could pile my plate high with mediocre grilled meats. The lounge bar was the perfect place to drink away my disappointment.

The gift shop had nothing worth buying. Oh, wait, there was a single postcard.

For us it was ideal

We had a fantastic visit to the Hotel Grand Confort Le Moulin Rouge with our children. The highlight for them was the swimming pool, which they absolutely loved splashing around in. It provided a great way for the whole family to relax and cool off after a busy day of sightseeing.

My wife says that the breakfast options for children were limited. She felt that there could have been a wider variety of kid-friendly choices available.

The personnel were super chill and friendly, always hooking us up with dope recommendations. We hit up the Moulin Rouge show and it was straight up mind-blowing! The performers killed it, the costumes were on fleek, and the whole vibe was next level. The breakfast was bomb too, making sure we were energized for our adventures. And yo, the swimming pool was legit, perfect for some epic pool parties!

The only thing that we would've loved to have is a happening bar scene at the hotel. Like, it would've been lit to have a spot where we could chill after the show and meet fellow young party animals.

The bathroom facilities were also modern and pleasing to the eye. The location near Terrasson was perfect for us and our nearby friends. The hotel had a pleasant setting with a swimming pool and all rooms were on the ground floor.

The pool was a nice addition to our stay and kept us refreshed in the hot weather. We also appreciated the comfortable beds which were a welcome relief after a long day of sightseeing. the setting was somewhat serene, surrounded by pleasant scenery.
