There was a great dining option, Bor Pen Yang only 100 feet from the hotel. A view of the river from our window❤

The hotel is basic, the staff are friendly.
The curtains in the room let in a lot of light, for those not wishing to wake at sunrise this would be a problem. The room does not have a safe anything valuable has to be left in a safebox at reception. The bathroom has a shower separated from the toilet by a shower curtain, the hotwater system is "interesting" and involves you switching on the electricity whilst standing in the shower!!! There is no hotwater to the basin.

Central location to Vientiane, easy access to restaurants, spa and night street stalls.
The air-conditioner was not working well, in fact it was hot until the surrounding external temperature dropped. We were asked to first set the air-cond at 25c, wait for 30 minutes and then only turn it down to below 20c. After all this trouble, there is only slight difference as the room is still warm. Too much trouble and stress. The situation is worsen as there is no fan in room 311.

Location was good - easy walk to all areas of downtown. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly.
Beds were a bit too hard and uncomfortable. Free Internet connection was slow.

I particularly liked the lobby full of antique furniture and various objects.
Our room (218) was facing the Mekong but was very noisy wirh the busy road just outside. The balcony was quite dirty and i would not go on it because of the noise and the pollution outside.

breakfast good. Internet in the room is good , but slow speed.

WiFi worked. Better brakfast selection than another Vientiane hotel.
Tacking "boutique" onto the name means that tuk-tuk drivers have no idea where to find it (ask for "Inter City", or "Inter". Quite pricey compared with other, cheaper hotels which were nearer to the centre. (e.g. the D.....D..... which also had a nicer room too).

lobby is very organized and i like the ambiance since very few hotel r decorating antiques just like going back the old times, staff are very hospitable and always smiling, food is good and i like the location very accessible to any point of destination like minimart.....good restaurants, beauty parlor and a lot of food in the street during night time you can do also little shopping at night just in front of the hotel where you can buy native products at reasonable price. If i have a chance to go back in Laos ill prefer stay again in this hotel.

on the first night we didnt sleep as there was loud disco music playing next door. we asked the next morning if we could change our room. no problems at all - we were moved to the back of the hotel where no noise but not such a wonderful view of the mekong. the hotel knew there was a problem with noise on that side of the building as we spoke to other guests who had to be moved after the first night too.
only as we said above - the noise during the night - disco - was terrible and the hotel knew there is a problem with rooms on that side of the hotel. unacceptable.

The hotel had great Laos culture decor. The staff were extremely helpful and the buffet breakfast was extensive and delicious. The location was really good - right by the river, markets, and tourist attractions.

Not far from the airport. Easy to find. Close to many bars and restaurants. Some of the sites in town were within walking distance.
My friends and I found it was a bit noisy. Some of the noise was actually made by the staff, although I don't think they realised they were making any noise. I booked rooms for 3 people and one of the rooms had no hot water for showering for 2 days. My friend asked if he could have some sort of refund but they wouldn't give him any. While I was there I spoke to soem other guests who also complained about the noise. Also there was no information stating that single rooms had no view at all and some of the single rooms didn't even have a window for daylight. I strongly recommend that if your company is going to advertise these hotels then you should visit them. this is my honest opinion, i'm not trying to degrade the hotel or you service.

good location on river side and only a short walk to restaurants and cafes in the evening. Wonderful views over the Mekong at sunset
Breakfast arrangements were poor, insufficient staff and replenishment of cutlery and food was inadequate. The deluxe room seems to have been based on location ie front & 4th floor, rather than furnishings and fittings!
