Insotel Punta Prima Prestige Suites & Spa San Lluis - Sant Lluis

There were 2 bathrooms, the main one just off the bedroom had a whirlpool bath (fill it with water, some bath gel, toddlers, turn it on and see if you can find your kids!

Suites include 2 sofas, coffee table, dining table, 2 televisions, 2 bathrooms, Jacuzzi bath, Hydrotherapy shower,robes, slippers, all of which is to a high standard.

Room was perfect for 2 adult and 2 children with the ensuite doors that separated the living area from the main bedroom.

The room and gardens were beautiful and the food on the whole excellent in the Prestige suites restaurant.

The Prestige suites are more tasteful, spacious with only 52 rooms.

However, on the two occassions we ate in the hotel restaurant the food, service and wine was excellent so half board is probably a good option.

The chef even cooked jacket potatoes every night so that our 8 month old babies could eat fresh food with us in the restaurant.

The suites are spacious, the terrace bar is ideal for grabbing a sofa and the food doesn't get better.

This is also the only 5 star hotel which doesn't have waiter service at the pool, even the last two 4 star's I went to in the cCnaries had this.

Punta Prima is very quiet and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

However, when we arrived at the Hotel reception late in the evening we were informed that they had overbooked and were unable to honour our booking.

I have to stay and look after the sleeping kid & baby (no the hotel couln't provide amyone to look after them straightaway, ok) I phone reception.

We had white bathrobes and slippers and beach towels for using at the pool or beach.

Pool was clean and plenty of luxury sunbeds to choose from daily.

Had lunch at the pool (modest lunch menu with choice of sandwiches and salads) again with the baby monitor in our hands and our youngest taking his nap.

Spacious suites, breakfast good and pool was clean.

The rooms are very large and kept very clean and the facilities first class.

The fresh fish at dinner, cooked to order, compensated for some of the problems, as did the large suite, which was very spacious for two of us.
