Rent a car, move inside this marvellous island, or go the various beach around the location, have fun, relax at the swimming pool, and it will help to forgot a little bit those too bad points.

Nope sorry, we are over-booked, theres nothing we can do about and we will send you in a taxi, 5 minute drive, to another hotel for 2 nights.

Porto Cristo cost us £5 in a taxi but unfortunately it shuts early in the evening due to the winter season, so the hotel had more to offer in the evening than anything local.

Our rooms had air conditioning and hair dryer and a large bathroom.

However on arrival we were disappointed in the fact that the rooms have no view only the bedroom wall and high rise window.

Don't even think about getting a sunbed as you have no chance unless you put your towel on them before you go to bed.

The apartment was very clean and spacious with a lovely bathroom.

Cannot comment on the entertainment as we never made it down to the bar area at night (babies in bed!

We had learnt some basic Spanish and the bar and restaurant staff really appreciated the fact that we were able to order in Spanish.

They will not worry if the food quality and offerings are a little variable day-by-day - there is always the next meal - or the snack/grill bar - or you can just have more of what you do like!

The buffet restaurant is well designed and the food was excellent.

The restaurant manager went out of his way to make us feel welcome and personally greeted us at meal times.

Beer at the bar was fine, the food was very continental and nothing against the Germans they were polite.

On both occasions we travelled independently - enjoyed the all-inclusive-gold service, and were allocated rooms in the main wing with good buggy/pram access from the lift/reception lobby.

Moreover the communal areas are very pleasant, welcoming and the reception staff are courteous and efficient, the buffet restaurant is well designed.

The reception staff were surly, unpepared (you would think that we were the first people to ever check in!

In addition staff was friendly and helpful, the maids were nice, our room was spotless.

It is set in a variety of complexes of the main hotel each area has a pool and dining facility.

The pool area is pretty with flowers and seating and sun loungers around the main pool area.

We have enjoyed both our stays with our 2, now 3 year old daughter - and would have no hessitation in recommending this hotel to families with young children for a *family* holiday comprising pool and beach activities.

Staff were wonderful and the apartment was very clean and spacious.

The rooms were clean, of a good standard and catered for my family well.

The waiters and waitresses clearly all loved children but ensured that the dining room was clean and cleared tables quickly so you were never kept waiting.

The rooms are exceptionally clean and catered for our needs which was basically to sleep.

The hotel is next to a public beach is really good and the rooms are exceptionally clean.
