    The only place to put clothing in the toilet/bath area was a hook on the door.

    The room was nicely decorated and clean, but the furniture and carpet were cheap and worn.

    The bathroom was small, with the usual inadequate space for towels.

    No shelf space in there whatsoever; the motel stored extra towels on top of the toilet tank.

    The beds were soft with pretty linens but the pillows were hard and uncomfortable.

    The price included a buffet breakfast in the onsite restaurant.

    Very pretty grounds, super restaurant, beautiful old mansion -- it's a real place -- with real people.

    The staff was pleasant, and there were two dogs in the reception area who greeted guests during the day.

    We made our reservation based on the book "1,000 Places to See in the US and Canada Before You Die".

        Very pretty grounds, super restaurant, beautiful old mansion -- it's a real place -- with real people. The people who worked there were friendly and I had no complaints.
