The location is perfect, at the bottom of St Andrew's Descent, two mins walk from the Funicular, and about 10 mins stroll from Independence Square.
The location is perfect and the hotel is a pleasant 10 to 15 mins walk from Kiev centre.
I booked direct with the Hotel and found they responded immediately to emails and also booked a driver to collect me from the Airport.
Staff were fantastic, the room I got was mega big and breakfast was more than adequate.
The service was superb and the room was large.
We had the Lux room on two floors for one night 13th May 2007 at a rate of about £130/night.
Furthermore room was sparkling clean and breakfast was a joke - 2 tasteless hot dishes was all that was offered.
Breakfast was decent enough, lots of cheese/meats, even cereal!
Great location in the lower old town, the hotel itself is lovely and the reception staff are very pleasant.
The staff will even bring food to your room and not charge you extra for the service.
The hotel doesn't look great from the outside and warm staff to come back to after business.

Staff were fantastic, helpful, polite, and didn't laugh at our attempts to speak Russian/Ukrainian, but thankfully spoke really good English!
It has a very clean and tidy reception, hallway and rooms.
I had a single room which was very clean and well set out although a little noisy being next to a workshop where welding started early.
