Overview

Located within the short distance from the city center, the five-star hotel Imperiale Palace Hotel features such some nearest city attractions as Castello di Punta Pagana, Santa Margherita Ligure Castle and Villa Durazzo.

The hotel was built in 1889 and in 1910 the building was further extended to its present state. Being surrounded by a beautiful park, it is the luxurious five-floor hotels.

    From the airport:

    • Head northeast on Via Pionieri e Aviatori d’Italia, turn right to stay on Via Pionieri e Aviatori d’Italia, go through one roundabout, slight right to stay on Via Pionieri e Aviatori d’Italia and at Rotonda Giuseppe Castruccio take the third exit and stay on Via Pionieri e Aviatori d’Italia, continue onto Via Enrico Melen and then keep left at the fork, follow signs for Genova Ovest/Livorno/E80/Milano/Via Serravalle and merge onto A10/E80, take the exit toward A7, keep right at the fork, follow signs for A7/Milano/Livorno and merge onto A7 and take the exit onto A12 toward Genova Est/Livorno after what take exit Rapallo to merge onto Piazzale Genova, continue onto Via Sant’Anna and then onto Corso Goffredo Mameli. At corso Goffredo Mameli turns slightly right and becomes Via della Libertà, turn right onto Corso Giacomo Matteotti/SP1, continue to follow SP1 and turn left onto Corso Cristoforo Colombo/SP227, continue to follow SP227 and turn left onto Via San Michele/SP227. The hotel will be on the right.

    • Staff is very friendly - Uncomfortable beds are filled with bed bugs

    • Staff were truly quite rude - Close to the town center and railway - Rooms were nice

    • Fantastic terrace for breakfast - Rooms are large with elegant furniture - Pool side restaurant was absolute luxury

      The location is very nice, beach and pool facilities are excellent in comparison, the hotel is NOT worth the money. The staff is amazing as well as the property and a reason we keep coming back, the food in the restaurant is very good.

      Nice view of the sea, private beach and the road just below the hotel causes some noice as well as fume/exhaust issues. Beautiful building, friendly staff and helpful concierge. The breakfast included in the room rate was superb.

      Our no view room was quiet big and comfortable, service through out the hotel was superb, friendly and courteous, the staff were very nice and helpful. We sucked up and booked one of the terrace suites and the terrace alone was worth, breakfast was magnificent.
