All in all, the location is great because it's centrally located and it was easy to get around.

The Imperial Palace is located right in the middle of the Strip - you really couldn't ask for a better location.

Inargubaly, the hotel has a great central location and perhaps the best situated if you are looking to wander either way on the strip.

The shuttles from the airport have gone up to $6 per person and I think the taxi back to the airport was only about $15 including tip.

One piece of advice if you are not going with a tour but like us doing our own thing, be sure to book the Airport Shuttle before departing the UK as it saves a lot of money on taxis.

I tried different restaurants at the Bellagio, The Aladdin, and The Venetian (all an easy walk), and really think the best food I had in Vegas was at lunch, at the Chinese Restaurant on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the Imperial Palace.

We ate at the hotel restaurant for one dinner and two breakfasts -- food is okay but the fact that you cannot see outside is kind of bothering.

I never ate at any of the IP restaurants, but my husband had breakfast at the burger place a couple of times and said it was pretty good food and inexpensive.

Unfortunately the restaurants in the Imperial are not worth visiting if you're expecting high quality, Michelin style food but the 24 hour cafe downstairs is ok for breakfast and late night snacks.

The breakfast buffet wasn't bad at all and we did not eat at the other restaurants in the hotel.

I read on a previos reviw that the elevators where slow, I didn't find this at all, although some lifts that serviced the pool where busyer.

Elevators were frequently full in the morning, almost everyday we had to wait for a second one, in the evening, the elevator lobby was jammed with people.

Elevators are very slow and pool could use some improvements but rooms were clean and reasonably priced, hotel is also at a great location- center strip.

Wireless internet access was available for $10/day.

NO wait to get our room - the room was very clean and you could actually open the pario door (albeit to a very small patio) to get fresh air in!
